I have written about this foreign born couple who are at a different level of fame/fan obsession/tmblr accounts compared to the lead of their show a couple of times over the past few weeks. Apparently the couple, who are also co-stars, have split. She has erased him from her social media. As much as he is probably seeing someone else, so is she.
Martin Freeman/Amanda Abbington/Benedict Cumberbatch/Sherlock (and today their split was publicly confirmed)

Bummer. Hopefully things can be civil since they have two kids .
They separated in March. Today it was officially announced.
ah so before shooting of the new sherlocked season started. that's why there were so few pics from the set. tense atmosphere there i guess.
People have been saying it for a while. But it was impossible to hide with those lately pics of the Sherlock screening where Martin and Amanda were next to each other and not touching at all. They are both looking amazing lately though.
Some people have been saying this since he was shooting that show in Puerto Rico. There was a switch of sorts over a year ago, when she deleted several pictures and nearly stopped mentioning him altogether. There was a blog on Tumblr pointing this out last year, and some folks were dismissing it as fantasy, but I think it got deleted.
Anyway Martin's been rumored to be unfaithful with different women for several years now so it's not entirely shocking.
Both? Excuse me but Ms. Abbington looks like a walking corpse now. On the other hand, Mr. Freeman looks happy and younger.
*someone else* must be Cumberbatch himself come on. It’s obvious.
