This former A+ list mostly movie actress is clinging to A- list simply because of her past body of work. The constant drinking and pot use combined with her sudden dislike of exercise has caused her to gain some weight which she is tired of trying to lose. Apparently she is going to live her life like she wants and if she gets roles the way she is, then great, but she is done living for others.

So much for that beauty/body book, eh, Cameron? That was a shortlived stab at becoming a health guru.
She always talked about how athletic she was and how she loves working out blah blah blah
Fake ass.
Sure, like she was a mega superstar multimillionaire just for others.
She was so hot when she did the mask, then she dissappeared for a while and came back looking super skinny and hagrid looking and would give interviews about how she just can't gain weight no matter how much she eats.
Depression.
Good for her now just don't start crying when you want to land a big role and can't get it so you start whining about how hard it is to be a woman in hollywood.
She finally kicked that cocaine habit, you mean. Replaced it with pot and alcohol and no surprise she's packed on the pounds.

She had to play the game to get that, though. Although, I think that's fair considering her career is built more on her looks than her talent.
I think she quit smoking (cigarettes..). Weight gain is inevitable. She'll probably bounce back eventually.
Good for her. She's probably being dieting for over 25 years. I hope she can enjoy life now.
When you live your life as a product, which is basically what all actors and actresses are, it is probably nice to be a human again.

I think she hates the double standard, and just want to be who she is. I like that about her.

Oh please, she's put on a little post marriage weight - she's hardly huge. Happens to the best of us. She's just got better/other things to do rather than hitting the gym for the next movie role.
I saw photos of her the other day and thought she looked great. Happy and healthy, certainly not like a big drinker/pothead. I'm gonna call BS on this one.

I also saw photos and would say she's put on 15+ lbs. She's not FAT but she's heavy for "Cameron Diaz" and Hollywood.
Cameron has been doing Hollywood for TWENTY YEARS and if she wants to chill TF out, I say good for her, she's deserved it.

The Daily mail has photos of her with her husband from a few days ago. I think she looks great. I don't see that she's gained any weight. She may have had a little work done on her face. She looks happy and healthier than i've seen her in a while.
