Blind Item #4

It is definitely a double standard. Oh sure, if you ask then, they will tell you her offers are less than what they were before because her movies are not really doing that well. What really bothers them though is the amount of sex she has, but not with them. Them being the male studio bosses and producers and the actress being an openly gay A-/B+ list actress.

Homophobia lives. The only way to remedy this is for more women to gain power in Hollywood. More female producers and directors will help kill the patriarchy. Hollywood is full of misogyny and pedos and gropers.

Going with Kstew on this one.

I'm all for bringing down the culture of "male studio bosses and producers" who expect sex as their right for hiring someone. F-them. With a round bristle brush.

exactly, Cookie Monster

Kstew. Enty is right about the double standard. But to be fair, she also refuses to do franchises which makes it harder to get the same figures per film. There are a lot of smart, powerful, empowering aspiring franchises floating around, why not choose one and bring up your value? Since nothing speaks louder than success.

+1 to you and the Cookie Monster as well. It is a daunting ,long road-- but there are small steps being made that I hope become leaps ,that then become-mutiny!

I'm pretty sure guys have slept their way to the top as well. With men and women.

Also, keep in mind that she is a crappy actress, IMO. Her being in a movie does not sweeten the deal for me.

I agree with DUH. She's a terrible actress. Her range is limited, her performances are flat. Granted, I didn't watch any of those vampire movies, but she's never stood out in anything else I've seen her in.

She strikes me as one who got very lucky, wrongly decided that her success was based on her own ability, and then frittered away her opportunities.

Too be honest, she seems to prefer indie movies. And indie actors get small salaries, because the budgets are small.

Also, Kristen does not appear to be very sexual. She doesn't seem to like touching women, maybe the girlfriends are to keep the studio executives at bay.

Can't be K-Stew. Doubt there's many studio execs that want that mess bent over their desks.

Agree with DUH and Lemon.

Kristen, blames everyone, but herself. Now it is sexism that noone wants to hire her for major roles or pay her a huge salary for movies most movie-goers don't want to see? If this is even about her.

Stewie sent this BI to CDN herself lol!. In what universe is Stewie A-B+???...Stewie is lucky to be B-C+ list these days and one appearance on Saturday Night Live won't change that fact. Besides, Melissa McCarthy outshined that wenches ass anyway.

Stewart sucks as an actress, burned way too many bridges and can't get decent work these days. End of story.

K. Stewart can be lesbian but she don't care have sex with mens for papels, doesn't she

I'm still surprised she's stuck around this long since that crapfest Twilight franchise has been over for at least 4-5 years.

I don't think this is a case of homophobia...I think it's a case of men wanting to work with someone who will put out.

Besides...being a lesbian never stopped Jodi Foster. I personally think Kristen Stewart is a cruddy actress, and not very likeable or watchable on screen. She's a one trick pony. That's the biggest part of her problem. It's not homophobia.

The issue isn't homophobia, it's sexual harassment. She's being retaliated against for not having sex.

The boys like their perks.
