Blind Items Revealed #4 - Kindness

December 29, 2017

This A- list mostly television actress had some really good luck with that long running network ensemble show. It has been kind of rocky since then, and the A- list thing is just because so many people know who she is rather than where she is. Anyway, perhaps fitting with her nature, if you are a school with a music program, she is your champion. I have seen her raise six figures in a night for programs involving singing and music. She doesn't do galas really, but she will make phone calls and send texts and e-mails and basically tell people she knows to Venmo her some money or write a check. She has probably raised $1M in the past two years and a lot of that was in small donations.

My step sister worked with her during her Spring Awakening days. She says that Lea looked uncomfortable around people she didn’t know well and that was the reason why she couldn’t actually have nice interactions with fans, they made her uncomfortable.

A couple of years ago I met her in NY (I was with my step sister) and she was actually nice (way nicer than I expected) we talked about the Glee pilot and she was talking animatedly about how much she loved music and how she actually had discovered and learned to truly appreciate Streisand because of Glee (actually she wasn’t that much of a fan before that).

Years of reading blinds have made me not really like her much at all, but music education in schools is a matter very close to my heart. Pains me that it’s not a “given” part of grade and middle school education. So, thank you Lea. Well done on this one

I never watched Glee but for some reason I, sadly ,have negative connotation of this girl. doesn't seem I am in minority though so I must have ran across stories. but this is nice of her to do. music and sports are critically important yet often first programs to get cut. I liked this especially because it lacks pic of her standing with giant oversized check into the faces of disinterested third graders.
very nice

I have read many positive fans stories about her. Can she be a diva at time sure but I think so much is exaggerated. Society likes to build people up and then tear them down.
