Where Kelly lives, the local PD has very little investigative powers. No snitches, outright hostility, the cops probably don't exit their cars very often.

But I recall some parents desperately trying to reach their daughter who was living with R.Kelly, and he had her brainwashed, in addition to simply restricting her comings-goings, phone calls, etc.
Simply saying that, if this is supposed to be R.Kelly, there are people who care about the girls, or at least, there were.

Have you ever seen Space Jam? I Believe I Can Fly was on the soundtrack. While R. Kelly was already at least A list that one song sent his fame into the stratosphere.
The song is sad to me & if you know anything about his childhood & the psychology of abused children you will be sad when you hear that song too.

Yes, that is exactly why R. Kelly chose to live where he lives. Cops won't come knocking, snitches are killed and, frankly, his victims are young black girls for whom there is less enthusiasm to free or even investigate.

I'm still baffled that this guy is able to do what he does, blatantly, and get away with it.
He has a house in Atlanta, the one that was raided, but doesn't he also still reside in Chicago?
