Today's Blind Items - Always Look At The Foundation

This self-proclaimed A+ lister is really just a guy with a specialized degree who flits between reality shows calling himself the best at what he does in medicine. I will tell you one thing he is the best at and that is using his foundation to find and groom young boys. He made some news a few years back with some pretty groundless legal actions and has made things even worse. He sent his male lover to the offices of the people he is suing and then accused the people in the other office of improper behavior with the boyfriend. Apparently the licensing board was not amused and his insurance company is tired of his antics and want him to settle the lawsuit.

Oz is still a practicing heart surgeon, and as far as I know, pretty well regarded. I'd be surprised if this was him.

This person might not be a medical doctor, but a therapist type.

Dr. Drew Pinsky?

Ah yes, the Dr. Drew the Addiction Specialist

The only foundation Dr. Drew belongs to is for prostate cancer, hardly the place for grooming young boys.

Not seeing Dr Drew for this, shadiest thing I can find is selling out to big pharma, don't fool yourself, most doctors do.

Another sleazeball.

Of course being a snake oil salesman doesn't necessarily make him a pedo.

Dr. Oz?

"HealthCorps is a 501 (c)(3) that gives teens tools to improve physical and mental health so they can learn to live more productive and happier lives. HealthCorps students exercise more, eat better and practice positive thought.

"Founded in 2003 by Dr. Mehmet Oz, HealthCorps’ mission is to... help the next generation be more resilient, both mentally and physically. "

With Do Tell's second comment, Phil came to mind. Here's his foundation.

Also as someone at an insurance carrier, egos tend to cost way too much money & instead of settling early, they drag crap out.

Dr Phil is definitely creepy.

Dr. Terry Dubrow of Botched and Real Housewives of Orange County? He's got some lawsuits popping up, but I'm not interested enough to read what they're all about. After this week's episode, where he and Dr. Nassif stripped down to their undies together, I would believe there might be a boyfriend somewhere in the picture. It was very cringeworthy.

Dr Phil was a psychologist and lost his license years ago.

I don’t think this is Dr. Phil.

Brayson87 said...

It has to be a doctor who is or was suing somebody, not being sued by:

"He sent his male lover to the offices of the people he is suing and then accused the people in the other office of improper behavior with the boyfriend."

hothotheat said...

Flits between reality shows - I think this is Dr. Dubrow. What reality show has Dr. Oz been on?

Anonymous said...

I think it's Michael Bay.

fou toi said...

Dubrow doesn't have a foundation so it can't be him

nancer said...

dr. phil isn't a medical doctor so that reference 'the best at what he does in medicine' doesn't apply to him.

Well this ties in nicely with all the other pedophile shit at Tower Hill School if Oz.

Geeljire went there and wasn't raped because my family had a reputation for profound violence, maybe.

Don't forget about Khaled Hosseni.

HERE'S WHAT PRODUCTION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY FOR THE PODESTA-BROCK JETSET LOOKS LIKE

Earl Brian Bradley (born May 10, 1953)[2] is a former pediatrician from Lewes, Delaware and convicted serial child molester. He was indicted in 2010 on 471 charges of molesting, raping and exploiting 103 child patients (102 girls and 1 boy).[3] Some of the victims were as young as three months old.[4][5][6] He was charged in April 2010 with an additional 58 offenses in relation to the abuse of 24 additional victims.[7] He has been described by a number of reputable news outlets and commentators as "the worst pedophile in American history."[8][9][10][11][12][13][14] Dr. Eli Newberger, a professor at Harvard Medical Schooland a pediatrician who has studied child abuse cases for almost 40 years, said Bradley's was "the worst pediatrician abuse case I've ever heard of."[15] Bradley had access to an estimated 7,000 pediatric patients. According to a personal injury law firm in Baltimore, MD, one of many representing class action plaintiffs, 1,400 families in the class action alleged abuse. Bradley was ultimately found guilty on all charges and was sentenced to 14 consecutive terms of lifeplus 165 years in prison without parole on June 26, 2011. His conviction was affirmed by the Delaware Supreme Court on September 6, 2012.[16]

Dr Drew flits between reality shows. I couldn't believe it when he was chosen to do the follow-up interview after Elizabeth Smart's documentary. He's always creeped me out.

plot said...

Dr Drew paid actors to call his Loveline show with Adam. Ever notice how all the callers fit neatly into Drew's theories of sexuality and addiction?

He's a fraud. He uses the sicknesses of others to make himself rich and respected and a big celebrity.

Satan 666 said...

Oz has his own show (for brain dead housewives and memaws) and does not flit between reality shows.

Therapists are required to surrender their licenses when they become talk show hosts.

But it's how he started and no one can name the last time he performed a surgery.

A 2014 American Psychological Association’s survey found that high school students say they have stress levels that top those of adults. Now, more than ever, young Americans need grit as well as physical and mental strength in an ever-challenging world.

HealthCorps shows young people that the everyday choices they make about what they put in their mouths, how much they move and how positively they think and persevere, impacts how independent a life they will live. HealthCorps doesn’t bombard teenagers with facts about nutrition and exercise. Through the inspiring delivery of young mentors, HealthCorps teaches teens that they are accountable for their future through their simple thoughts and actions and that they can set the course of their future now.

...

HealthCorps recently embarked on a new effort, helping to raise awareness about the need for organ donors. If you regularly read our blog, then you know how important it is to consider becoming an organ donor and you’ve likely learned about some of the myths surrounding organ donation.

Doctors involved in heart transplants have a unique perspective on organ donation. We recently spoke to Dr. Alan L. Gass, M.D., the Director of Cardiac Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support at Westchester Medical Center and Associate Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College. He has been involved in transplant medicine since 1991. Dr. Gass also sits on the HealthCorps Board of Advisors.

This is the wrong blind. However, it will be interesting to find out who this is. Dr. Oz or Dr. Phil. Didn't they both start on Oprah?

I really hope its not Dr. Oz. Say what you will about his credibility and Cory Feldman, but he was one of the few talking about pedophiles in Hollywood

Would you believe me if I saw a senator a few days past?

Do Tell said...

I think this is Dr. Robert Huizenga, actually.

He was the doctor on the now defunct (but not technically cancelled) The Biggest Loser, and was also on Extreme Makeover, American Gladiators, and many other shows. He provided medical testimony for OJ Simpson during OJ's murder trial and write a book that helped inspire the movie "Any Given Sunday".

He is also suing a former BL contestant, and The NY Post, for libel.

I'm just not sure if Dr H has a foundation, which is a key part of this blind. Looking for that.
