Blind Items Revealed #1

November 5, 2018

As part of its deal with the disgraced child molesting/ pedophile director, this movie studio HAS to spend at least $500K to promote him as Best Director for a recently released movie. He could be convicted of child rape and they would still have to do it. They signed this agreement knowing his past.

When Disney finishes its deal to buy Fox, this stuff may change. We'll see.

Brayson87 said...

Apparently audiences care as little about pedos as studios do as long as there is singing.

Paul Saint John said...

Enty predicted Bohemian Rhapsody would bomb. So far, it hasn't. Neither has
the Lady Gaga film done bad. What's up with his predicting powers?

notthisagain said...

@Paul

enty didnt say it would bomb. he said malek's presumption of winning an oscar for it went away when it starts to get non-stellar reviews.

he'll still be nominated probably, but he won't be winning

HEY ESQUIRE, WHERE U AT

Unknown said...

He also said Don Henley would be outed as a predator.
Not so much.
HUGE grains of salt accompany my viewing / reading of everything on this site now, between the agendas and the bullshit.

While the studio may have to spend the funds, I wonder where the DGA will come down on Singer's eligibility considering he did not direct parts of the movie which were filmed both before he was fired and after.

Brayson87 said...

@notthis, they're probably on their knees, fake magazine.

@unknown

Singer abandoned the project with 10 days left of filming. He shot over 95% of the film, thats when Dexter Fletcher came in and finished the remaining shooting days.

Read the DGA rulebook. This is 100% Singer's film and yes, he's still eligible.

Predicting powers=Wishful thinking

Singer is such a slimy loser, I wish someone would send a fixer to his door.

Unknown said...

Most regular people don’t keep up with the celebrity world and have no clue who he even is or who made the movie and what they do in their personal lives though

Guesser said...

@Unknown,HHenley was outed as a predator when it happened. The story was about the victim being public, and whether he is responsible for the other girl's death. He wrote that awful song "Dirty Laundry" about it,it was covered a lot at the time.

I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm saddened by how many of my friends rushed out to see this movie made by a predator criminal, and then went on and on via Facebook and Twitter about how entertaining it is and how much they enjoyed it and are going to see it again.

I have not seen it and I will not see it unless I pay to see something else and sneak into it.

So frustrating. And CDAN is getting less of my time as its predictions of doom and gloom for some of Hollywood's worst predators and criminals fall by the wayside. Not to mention the focus on talentless "reality TV stars."

I realize the site is free and nobody's got to come here, but let's face it: Like that movie "Haunts of the Very Rich," once told us: "Hell is where they give you hope for justice, but take it away over and over again."

We all know Hollywood is a hell-hole. What's going on with this website, really? Mock us with hard truths and promised justice that never comes?

Andi said...

LOL, what the hell makes you think anything will change with Disney. They have been emplpying Dan Schneider for decades, and covering for his fat a$$

Brayson87 said...

@Andi, wrong House, Schneider was of Nickelodeon. Perhaps you were thinking of Ortega?

Paul Saint John said...

At this sad point in history, Singer could write and direct yet another pedo-themed film, this time autobiographical, molest all the underage cast during the shoot, and still get away with it, with an Oscar as best director.

On-line streaming entities will kill Hollywood as we know it.

Brayson87 said...

@DDonna, I think the value of the site is raising awareness.

And as we've seen, what even happens when these people get busted? Lawsuits and slap on the wrist jail sentences?

Brayson87 said...

@Boo, I hope so, it's not like they're making a lot of great films nowadays anyway. A movie is like a short story, but a series is like a novel.

Sd Auntie said...

Maybe the article will be released after Oscar nominations are announced

fionafab said...

Brayson: Narcos-Mexico starts this week on Netflix. Can't wait!!

Brayson87 said...

@Boo, Totally excited, I just hope it's still as good without Pedro Pascal and Boyd Holbrook. I don't know if Michael Pena can convey the same casual burnt out world weariness that they could.

Do Tell said...

Good, let them spend 500K on tiny pennysaver ads.

HushHush said...

@unknown & @ notthisagain I had heard that it was the DP Tom Sigel who did most of the directing. He's a big name, and when Singer would no show, he's direct. They have a long working relationship together. And I imagine they will continue to as they pulled this one out of the fire. A BI said that Singer was pulling all nighters in London, talking to his LA lawyers, back 6 months ago. As long as his name is on the call sheet, and the producers ok it, then the DGA will go along with it.

I think the issue is that young men and boys have a more difficult time revealing the abuse they suffer(ed) then women and girls, at this point. Also, that underground world seems really really well protected and insulated, where the players don't go to far off the ranch and act outside of certain protocols. Hollywood hotshots who victimize girls seem to act out everywhere, in whatever occasion they choose. The abusers of boys seem more like a protected club who knows how to silence any accusations as a united front.

This -- 99% of the non-Hollywood public has a clue who he is or could even say he looks familiar if they saw his photo. Plus, it's fucking weird how Hollywood and commenters can be so adamant of not punishing the actors and crew of Roseanne but are gung-ho to destroy the lives and careers of anyone who worked on Bohemian Rhapsody. I'm fucking over the hypocrisy.

The studio should spend the $500k advertising nationwide in those little newspapers that get thrown in the driveways of the citizens of our great country; you know, the local advertising newspapers with the little green rubber band, that grow yellow and curled up because no one every picks them up and reads them. Terms of agreement met!

fionafab said...

Brayson: Michael Pena sneaks up on ya! He reminds me of the very first films Benicio made. You don't forget that face. You start to see it more often and you say, "Where have I seen him before? He looks familiar." Then you find yourself seeking him out in films. I really love this guy. He was so good in World Trade Center (2006) See, you & I were spoiled by Pedro & Boyd. They did all the heavy lifting. What happened to Wagner Moura, who played Pablo Escobar? I don't know if it's true, but someone told me long ago that Michael Pena is a close friend of the Travolta family & is a Scientologist. Really looking forward to the Mexico series. El Chapo got his jury last week. Everyone in NYC is psyched. What is gonna happen inside & outside the courtroom!

plot said...

Looks like New Yorkers are going to have a lively year or two of courtroom dramas, Boo. The trials will be the hottest tickets in town.

Do Tell said...

@Mango, that's just what I said only a few posts up from yours.

plot: Thinking of how I can get in! Where there's a will there's a way!

you can't predict the future while sitting in a bubble - most people have no idea who Singer is.

Look at all of Hollywood, the entertainment industry as a whole, every celebrity on earth, the media, all of Cali and NYC and their amazing predictions for the 2016 presidency. How they laughed and laughed and laughed. They're not laughing anymore.

Brian Singer isn’t famous in the way Woody Allen or Polanski are. Even if people know the name and have heard some things, promotion for Singers films is never really focused on him (probably by design). Unless you follow movie news, read full reviews etc. it’s easy to miss that he directed certain films.

Zsa Zsa said...

So they are the ones paying to make this exposé go away then. Because I certainly haven’t heard any more about it

LisaL said...

A lot of people don't keep up with celebrity news so I'm sure the vast majority of folks who saw the movie have no idea about Singer. Not hard to believe that the movie made a ton of money. Just sucks that he was part of it and still isn't being punished for what he's done.
