Apparently the word is out and this permanent A list singer who is known for just lip syncing these days, is not selling tickets. She is too cheap when it comes to things like that to buy them up herself and give them out for free, so will be interesting to see what she thinks of playing to half empty places.

I see that Mimi is now allowing her songs to be used for the Lip Sync battles on RuPaul's Drag Race, something she'd refused to do for 10 regular seasons and 3 AllStar seasons.
She may turn up as a judge on the show as well.
Probably be more fun to see her bloated self wheeled on stage to lip synch than hear what's left of her voice. Such a shame, but you can't dance on pointe without mangling your feet.
Used to be stars knew when to quit when their shtick got old. Good to see her nasty tricks are coming back to haunt her. Good job sound guy (you know some cocky millennial on the sound crew fucked up intentionally)
Actually , Mariah's New Years Rockin Eve performance in 2017 was very much live. And it was stunning .
She is a true survivor. Mariah knows how to fall down, get up, dust off, and try again.

She freaked out when they used seat fillers for her opening night. They are discounting the tickets heavily just to get anyone in the audience.

I'm attended her show in Brussels, and it was packed and she sang fully live. Youtube it "Brussels Mariah 2018". The proof is in the pudding....
No Enty. Her Christmas tour had been selling out in Europe and in Asia before. Maybe Las Vegas just attracts cheap people because it seems nobody sells out in Las Vegas. All of the musicians seem to play to smaller audiences there.

She needs to just deal with the fact that it's time to book smaller venues. At least in the US. a lot of artists need to come to terms with this reality.
Mariah doesn't lip sync. My husband is friends with her keyboard player.
