I have no sympathy for Taylor, she or her people/dad signed her contract and they knew what they were signing. Her dad then joined the BM board! If she wanted to get her back catalog she should have put together a competitive offer that the board couldn’t turn down, one that exceeded Scooters offer.
As much as she likes to claim she did everything all by herself, her label had to market her, and probably arranged travel, tours, studio time, etc etc.
She can sing her old songs live at that awards show, with a live band, so she’s being untruthful.
Scooter has crappy people working for him if they are communicating with her/ her team with out every word going through PR and lawyers first. She’s got rabid fans, writes songs whining about everything, and is on social media whining about everything. What were they thinking writing that email that comes across as a flat out ‘no’, when it is actually a yes as long as it’s a live performance.
