Considering what a horrible person/control freak she's supposed to be, it's somewhat surprising that Ellen would even bother to take time off to work on her marriage.

Her fake persona is built on being nice and gay married. She doesn't want to go through a public breakup. She's not trying to save her marriage, she's renegotiating it.
Ellen's games for bucks on her show are dehumanizing. Sure sign she signed up with the wrong group of people.

That is the way it goes with contracts. You better know what they can do to you before you sign. The problem is contracts are written in doublespeak by attorneys and interpreted by an attorney for a client in the same manner.
The best contracts are oral where both parties keep their word. Cuts attorneys right out of the picture and no one gets screwed. Saves on legal fees too!
If it is a contract Ellen signed it. She has NO ONE to blame but herself.
