Like the producers of the Oscars couldn't shuffle around some things to make room. They just didn't want to.
She should present at Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Championships.

I think the mall opening job in Dubai is a better fit for Markle. With her fake smile and wave it meets her skill set.
I tend to be gullible, but even I never believed that supposed claim about being offered to present the Best Picture award (and esp about their then turning it down!). I laughed so hard I was near tears.
Sorry Meghan, marrying into a title doesn't guarantee instant worship from Hollywood elites.

Oscar telecast at an all-time historical low rating. Most would assume the Academy would have jumped at the chance to have Sparkles presenting an award. But truth be told, Hwood never embraces royals as they see themselves in that role already. Sparkles is better off courting the big money from American corporates.
I never understood the obsession with wicked royals.
