Blind Item #11 - Field Trips
One thing that was never mentioned in the series and barely mentioned in the after show is the lust this current A list celebrity had for young teens. He would beg middle schools and high schools to have field trips and would even offer free admission to get them to come. It was all so he could find those very early teen boys. He would pick out three or four prospects from each trip and within a couple of days, one of them would be visiting the park again and end up being molested by the A lister.

The show is more entertainment than 'documentary'. Jurors at his trial that have seen it say it bears little comparison to what was presented at trial.

I watched the tiger king aftershow on netflix (comprised of recent interviews by Joel Mchale of several of the show's characters) and all seem to think he's right where he deserves to be- in prison.
Joe Exotic might be getting his 15 minutes but there is no way he is an A lister. I do think the blind is meant to be him but the rating is ridiculous.

He is definitely A list RIGHT NOW in the US. It doesn't mean you have to like him but you would be hard pressed to find a person in America that hasn't heard about the Tiger King during the last month. Don't worry he will be former A shortly.

I wasn't going to watch it. Everyone I know who's seen it says "don't bother". But now....I might do it. Sometimes I like to visit or re-visit things with the blind in question, in mind. Especially if it's revealed. I actually watched The Wanted Life...for grins because of a blind.
I hope the fact that he's a molester gets out to the prison people. I hear that doesn't go over so well....

Also, for those not aware, but interested, there is also a podcast about the same people that is not connected to the series. The host was interviewed on WGN morning news, and he said there is so much info about these characters that wasn't even mentioned in the series. (Spoiler?...one thing he said in interview was that Joe paid others to write AND record his music).

I’ve just finished the series. Like it’s well edited in places and compelling in others, but I cannot say I’d absolutely recommend it to watch unless you really want an excuse to loathe a bunch of redneck strangers.
