He shouldn't have let her do this stupid Preserve thing! That would have been a bliss for all! Seriously, while I dont believe Ryan is forbidding her to work, I do believe she misses the spotlight...we saw how happy and excited she was in Cannes with all the attention back to herself...shy my a**!!

If it is stuck at home buying furniture, cooking with wine (but not drinking it), craving babies, crying over her career, perusing antiques on Sothebys.com, checking her husband's phone for old girlfriends' texts, crying over a failed jumpstarter movie career, checking in every 10 minutes on a GPS-tracked phone with special software that blocks certain numbers... it's Blake.
Adding: if her husband takes a call from mom during sex, it's Blake Lively.
Then divorced the dude if she so beasting for fame that much. Announcing the divorce gives the the fame boast she craving.

I would have bet her retainer/marbles in mouth style of talking would be all the rage. When R.R. was on 2 Guy, a Girl and a Pizza Place, he was the 5th most interesting thing on the show. (Late in run cast member Nathan Fillion not included in show title). Control Freak
I'm looking toward to Blake and Ryan splitting, simply so Enty can stop with the BS about Ryan.

Same! At the beginning I even liked Blake but she's coming off as full of bs in the last year or so!

Really, what would have possessed Blake to get into and stay in such a bizarre situation???? It's as though she & Ryan are living in some earlier decade where the man of the house had complete say on everything. Does he threaten her, do you think, not to leave him? Is she afraid of him? Does she think she has no chance of having any kind of an acting career so she resorted to this lifestyle thing for a career? Blake may not be the world's best actress but she does have some ability. I really have liked her in several movies: The Town, Elvis & Annabelle, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (no opinion on the first movie, as I haven't seen it), and I find it very hard to believe that she couldn't again find work in TV and movies. Plus her acting will likely improve as she matures, as has been the case for so many other actors who people once wrote off as being untalented when they were young, i.e. Farrah Fawcett, Josh Brolin, Vanessa Williams.
She may not be happy with her situation but enty is probably taking liberty with the facts for a better narrative/blind. Never read many good things about her from gossip girl so not a shocker that she hasn't done much since it ended- has any of them? Blind even mentions another project that wasn't good. She may hate her current situation, careerwise, but whose to say it would be different even if she wasn't married to reynolds? Seems like it would help her being married to him. They don't have kids and she isn't pregnant so have always doubted the narrative that he doesn't want her to work. She probably would work if anyone wanted to hire her.

While I agree that Enty takes some liberty with the facts, generally and particularly when it comes to Blake and Ryan, if half of the things she claims are true, Blake kinda deserves it...not to be mean, but it seems she chased Ryan since GL set and tried to make him jealous with Di Caprio, she sold herself as this 50s girl whose one and only ambition was to bake, cook and give birth to lots of kids, at least until she got the ring, then she stepped back apparently. She trapped him telling what he wanted to hear, he was impatient to have a family after his first failed attempt and he buyed her bs as truth.
She wanted him, and now she has him. No sympathy from me.
Great cop out if your career goes to sh*t as hers has.

@Shelly Shell. I really liked Savages myself. Decent plot, lots of eye candy for both sexes, throw in a seriously crazy Benicio, crooked cop Travolta, Salma Hayek's Drug Doña and lots of weed and it was every bit as good as the majority of like minded flicks. Blake is decent in the few movies I've seen her in (The Town) but I could do without all the whining she does outside the movies.
