When Alec Baldwin won and was thanking Lorne Michaels profusely, I thought the look on Michaels' face said, "well, shit, I'm still gonna hafta fire him next week."

No big surprise with Mad Men and 30 Rock, but it makes me HAPPY! My two favorite shows :)
Two and a Half Men? WTF?! If there was ever evidence of a split between the other nominees...

why will Alec be fired next week?
god- whenever two and a half men win it always reminds me of when everybody loves raymond won for the entire time they were on air.
the shows arent bad but when you compare them to quality cutting edge comedy such as entourage, the office, etc you can really see the difference and it is always frustrating when the main-stream show beats out the odd ball better shows.
that being said- there will always be a litttel place in my heart for duckie- even if he did sell out
