Warren Sapp Arrested For Domestic Violence
Former Tampa Bay football player and Dancing With The Stars Contestant Warren Sapp was arrested on Saturday and charged with domestic violence. Sapp had been in Miami to cover the Super Bowl for NFL Network. To their credit they pulled him from the air. Sapp was arrested after his girlfriend called the police on Saturday. Sapp had been upset about his girlfriend talking to other guys Friday night at a party. He allegedly pushed her and choked her. Sapp was arrested and then released on $1500 bail.
The woman went to bed Friday night and woke up a few hours later being dragged out of bed by Sapp who had stayed to party for a few hours longer. The woman told police Sapp choked her, threw her down on a couch, then picked her up by her shirt and neck and threw her down again — injuring her leg. She was taken to the hospital.
