BuzzFoto Blind Item

This foreign singer who recently found fame might be America’s new sweetheart, but she’s reportedly a total b***h behind the scenes. After returning to her hotel room after a recent event, room service brought her the wrong kind of salad dressing with her food and she was so angry she threw the tray at a hotel employee, broke two lamps and a mirror and threw the food all over the floor. The hotel agreed to not press charges if the singer covered the mess and agreed not to stay there ever again.

Susan Boyle.....Poor little girl.

Is Stacy really Sharron Angle in disguise? Sharron Angle recently told a roomful of Hispanic students, "You look a little more Asian to me."

Rachel's competition is from the Philippines; she's not Latina.

And her name is Charice.

I would laugh if Subo had a hissy. Sounds comical.

What about that snotty Estonian chick who is always claiming that Lady GaGa stole ideas and even her image from her? (Yeah, because bleached blonde hair is sooooo original.)

Subo is a heart-tugging Cinderella character. And a nutjob. Totally her.

mikey said...

Wouldn't Subo have someone to *take care* of her at this point? She's had so many meltdowns I would think someone would have been hired. Maybe no one wants the job. I can be bought.

Everyone knows SuBo is nutty, we've read about all the crazy things she's done, why would it be a blind if she was then a beeyotch behind the scenes? Also, everything I've heard about SuBo has to do with anxiety about her fame and money, not diva behaviour getting pissed over salad dressing. I think this is someone else, someone much younger and brattier.

I hope this is not SuBo, I know she has alot of issues, but I want to believe in the fairy tale. Lame of me, I know.

Um yeah, so sorry I got her nationality wrong, didn't mean to offend anyone. But I did say I don't follow the show anymore. No need to be a bitch.

Meh, don't worry about it Stacy. My husband is Mexican and Asian people are always saying what's up to him and thinking he's Asian.

And I think for a long time (it might be updated now) there were three racial categories for things like forensics and such: Caucasian, Negroid and Mongoloid--many Asians, Islanders, Native Americans and Hispanics falling into that category. I'm no expert on the subjects, so I'm sure that there are many things that I am leaving out, but point is, many people from various parts of the world look similar not only to the "layperson" but also to experts and those of the race in question.

Nobody get your panties in a wad.

I'm filipino and people mistake me for Mexican constantly. And my maiden name is Spanish.

I don't know why, but it always surprises me that people act this way, I don't get it.

Agree with trinnean, doubt that it's Subo. She does have issues but I don't think they're the diva throwing things kind of issues - def some-one younger and brattier. - Love Subo, with all her issues ! she got a break, she deserved a break and I for one will be buying her next album -you go girl !

I have a friend from the Phillipines (named after Phillip II of Spain, btw) whose last name is Spanish and looks totally Latina; her cousins also have Spanish last names and look totally Asian. Seeing them standing side by side, you wouldn't think these women were from the same country, let alone closely related.

Is Nicki Minaj considered a singer by anyone?

Mexican people look Asian because they often are part Asian. The native people of the Americas are not really indigenous and came, in large part, from Asian populations.

There are only two true racial groups -- Africans and Asians. All other ethnicities are mixtures of them.

TONIc said...

Although it sounds like "diva" behavior, it could just be a mentally ill person acting out. I say Susan Boyle.

chihuahuense said...

While people can be classified according to similarities in their DNA, there aren't "two true racial groups." Many scientists dispute that there are races at all. There is the out of Africa hypothesis, but to say "Mexican people look Asian because they are often part Asian" is a real stretch.

Melody the First said...

chihuahuense, don't believe me if you don't want to, but there are only two racial groups -- the prevailing current theory is one of a simultaneous rising out of Africa and Asia. In the colloquial sense you mean, there is only one race - human. There are, however, races in the sense of specific ethnicities. The number of them is two -- African and Asian.

I'm 1/4 Cherokee. Go to China and look at old Chinese then look at old Native Americans, Native Canadians and Native Mexicans. We are predominantly Asian. No stretch whatsoever.

chihuahuense said...

wow, Melody, you are an expert anthropologist, too? What fortune we here at CDaN have to be in the presence of your font of knowledge that just flows and flows.

Actually, I have a degree in cultural anthropology. Most people here have some areas of expertise. Your first comments were based on reasonable supposition. You then wanted to "best" me by attempting to hold forth with great certainty about things you don't know about. I just corrected you.

Cheryl Cole is such a major bitch in the UK that no makeup artist will work with her for longer than two weeks, max. She also has a conviction for punching a cloakroom assistant in the face; the cloakroom assistant alleged that Cheryl called her a 'black bitch', which was not proved but most people who know Cheryl believe to have happened. She then married a black footballer - one hears as a beard to him, and a way for her to demonstrate she wasn't racist. She's a nasty vicious piece of work. The behaviour described here would be all in a day's work for her.

lollydarling said...

Oh, and ps: there are tons of different racial groups/genetic differences, for goodness sake. Look at all the different racial hereditary diseases, or the very different bone structures. It's not remotely racist to think someone from the Philippines is Latino/a, but it is pretty silly to argue that a Celt or an Askenazi Jew, for instance, is either Asian or African by origin, by any modern way that we would define races.

Melody the First said...

lollydarling, it depends upon what you're asking. If you're asking a scientific question, there are only TWO races. If you want to spin the facts based on your own question, be my guest.

Europeans are a mixture of Asian and African. I'd go into the facts of the Caucasus Mountains and Eurasia, but there's not enough room to do that. Other ethnic groups are mixtures of different amounts of African and Asian, with intermarriage into groups with other varying concentrations. Out of that arose mutations and variations on their ethnicity. That's where genetic diseases arise.

Latino is an ethnic group but it's not a race in the sense of a source group of the species. Latino people are southern European coupled with Asian.

Meg said...

Whoever this blind is....HAHAHAHA.

Can you imagine the reaction of the staff person that had to witness this? I think I would have had a hard time suppressing a giggle.

lollydarling said...

"If you want to spin the facts based on your own question, be my guest."

Thanks, hon. But I didn't ask a question.

Melody the First said...

Lollydarling, you advanced a question in the sense that ... oh, good lord, never mind. Why do people who know nothing about a topic try to make contentions they can't defend? That's my question.

Not that I care about the reply, toots. I already know the answer.
