I think it's more of a crime drama, Mango.
I'm on board with the Edie Falco guess. She was on a morning talk show recently and I found her quite unlikeable.

My guess goes towards the show "Body of Evidence" and the actresses Jeri Ryan and Dana Delany. In my opinion, the show is a medical drama.
I think "Body Of Proof, Dana Delany and Jeri Ryan.
They played adversaries on the show early on, Jeri's character dating Dana's characters ex. That was quite believable.
They have only lately become friends in the show.
