This A list celebrity with no apparent talent except being a diva despite all the things she does, tried to get a doorman fired at the hotel she is staying at. Apparently the doorman tried to strike up a conversation with her and she told him to never speak to her unless she spoke first and then tried to get him fired. The hotel refused.

Also, PLEASE PLEASE whomever is writing the blog now, NEVER END A SENTENCE WITH THE WORD "AT", not only does it make me crazy, but it falls under that whole ending-a-sentence-with-a-preposition thing. I know that's tough, so just work on not ending a sentence with AT and go from there.

and here's the thing about jennifer in regards to talent. she has none. but what she *does* have is smarts. her's is one of those stories that's truly about perseverance. she knows she can't act her way out of a paper bag, or sing live--much less dance while doing it. where she truly shines is in her discipline. she wanted so desperately to be in the entertainment industry that she was willing to work--truly work--for it, and it's paid off. she takes what mediocre skills she has and is so incredibly disciplined w/ them, that this is how she manages to shine. i'm no jlo apologist, that she's a jerk, she's a jerk--but from professional and personal experiences with her i can tell you that she's one hell of a hard-working lady. she's 70% work ethic and 30% unscrupulous moves (yes, that means what you think it means). in the interest of calling a spade a spade, just wanted to put that out there. she can be an assh*le, but i guarantee you that in all her a-holeness she shows up on time and knows her lines.

I have to admit, I loved her in Selena. Before she bought into her ego(and her "singing" career,) she was a good actress.
This reminded me of something. I met a guy in LA who drove celebs around and did other jobs for them along the same lines. I am always grilling people about celebs they have met and what they are like, best, worst...etc. Anyways, he said before he drove for this particular person he was not even allowed to have the rear view mirror facing into the backseat, no eye contact and no talking. Deciding to go against this he struck up a Convo with this "actress" who I consider more of a celeb wife. He was not grilling her, he simply asked her how her day was going. She was caught off gaurd and pissed and she did not hold back on letting him know that. The next day the company he works for said that he can never drive for her again and that she pushed for him to get fired but because he had been there for so long they were not going to do that.
I will let you guys guess who it is, because I want to see if anyone gets it. I was pretty surprised by it myself. And then I will reveal it in a little while :)

Doormen, waiters and stuff are not your friends. They are there to serve you and do their job, not to talk to you unless you want it. Damn, when I go to a bar or a hotel or wherever, I go for a drink, a bed or something, not to socialize with people with a crappy job.
Trying to have him fired is too much, though.
And I write this having been a waiter for some time, who knew his job was serving and making people happy, not befriending customers.
I kind of agree with you to some degree. I'm a server as well and we are not allowed to say a laundry list of things. Everything has to end with my pleasure, absolutely, certainly. I only indulge in conversation if the table prompts it. So I see it in that sense as well, most people don't like being bothered. But common pleasantries such as "how are you today?" Being grounds for someone to lose their shit....I don't agree with. We are all humans, and people like that need to be knocked back into reality.
If the actor's wife is indeed Jada I totally understand her freaking out. Imagine trying to juggle hidden lesbian lover, facade of perfect family including careers of 2 smug kids (one who has constant look of pain on his face) all in the shadow of being married to the 'biggest star in the world'...if anyone asked me how my day was going I'd lose my shit too! :)

I'd never heard they revoked the ending a sentence with a preposition thing, thanks for the link! Personally I think it sounds awkward and the word "at" is never needed at the end of a sentence. The whole Boost mobile "where you at?" campaign made me wanna tear my hair out. Ending a sentence with "of" has almost the same effect.
