I liked the performance and I was alllll JT until he dogged NSYNC like that. Says a lot about you, Justin. Even Beyonce did better- Kelly killed the stage and people noticed her. Justin was really selfish with this one. "Those four guys" i dont like him anymore.
Let's not make fun of honest work. It's dignified, unlike releasing sex tapes, suing someone, etc to stay relevant.
Justin getting married feels like such a ploy to make him 'grown up', like as an image thing. It all came together when he was gonna be a big-time actor too, remember?
I understand that the award was for Justin alone. But he knew how excited people would be with a mini reunion. It definitely was a one time thing so he could have at least had them sing a whole song together. I wish singers like this would remember where they came from and give back to the fans. Oh well. I guess we should be happy that we got anything at all.
It was a crappy thing to do. Justin is where he is because of that band. I also wondered where Biel was.
I agree with Kels. His horns are showing, screw JT.
I'm surprised they even did this at all. I thought JC and Lance hate him.
Jessica obviously doesn't have anything better to do, it's not like she's working nonstop.
I think he only invited her to the after party.
Justine is such a huge complete douche! If his homeless wedding clip didn't cement the deal than this sure does. He still tries to act too, which is even worse.

this brand knew, mtv-annointed 'president of pop'is just not proving to be a good and responsible ruler for doing nsync like that. not a good way to start off your 'reign', justin.

Actually, I watched that performance and the NSYNC part was clearly the worst part. They couldn't even "sync" the choreography. I don't blame JT. He has clearly outgrown them from a talent perspective.

I was very disappointed with the nsync performance. That may well have been the only performance they ever do together and justin pooped on the reunion so that he wouldn't be outshined. Oh and I also asked myself where was jessica. I thought it was odd that she wasn't there even though she goes to see him perform all the time. The truth will be revealed in a blind, can't wait.
I don't understand his appeal. I still think of him as that pubic hair teen from 2000. His music sounds like shit and he has a huge ego problem.
I'm not saying I necessarily agree with Justin snubbing his former "band" mates but wasn't N'SYNC just one of that piece of shit, Lou Pearlman's, random throwing together of arguably talented pretty boys?
It would be more understandable to hate on JT if these guys had history before their pairing. He was thrown in with these guys, together they got huge then the craze wore off and four of them didn't sell as much of their soles anymore and faded away. They never seemed to have any real love for each other.
Obviously if he were any sort of kind he would have given them more air time but he is a brat. I dunno, JT def a chode but I don't think he owes the other members of N'SYNC anything.

P.S.S - The only one of them that MIGHT have an argument to a broken bro code is J.C. & that's only because of the Mickey Mouse Club.
I guess it took her a really long time figuring out which tacky, unflattering dress to wear. It's not like there any shortage of them in her closet. That trick made a lace see-through number look fucking drab.

I was too old to be an Nsync fan but to have all the hype of a reunion and only give it 30 seconds of a 20 minute performance was weirdly short. I remember watching the Jackson 5 reunite they sang a long medley of their hits and it was phenomenal.
He doesn't owe them anything. When they split they ALL had their own chance to go big on their own and Justin is the only one *still* pulling it off. IMO they didn't sound or look strong together in their "reunion" performance. I don't blame JT for cutting it; they probably aren't in the shape they need to be in to pull off anymore time than they did. Also, WTF was with JC singing solo after they were clearly done? That was embarrassing.

So it wasn't the 2:00 minutes the video showed? Or are you just picking at straws. Did you want a NSync reunion showing them as they always were? Where JT sang the majority along with JC because that's what they did and that's what you're complaining about. I guess they could have left it up to Lance Bass and dreadheads, and the 5th member's name I can't remeber.
I thought it was fun. Why should Justin feel guilty because he was able to parlay his career into something bigger. He has a stronger voice and some comedic timing as well to make him valuable to shows like SNL and Jimmy Fallon.
Justin doesn't owe them anything. He was the recipient of a major award. He had a lot if hits to get through during his set. The other guys looked bad (sorry). I was looking forward to the reunion, but it didn't compare to his solo performance. Do we know for sure that Jessica wasn't there? Maybe she didn't want a camera in her face all night like Taylor and her STFU fiasco. Jessica could have been watching from backstage.
Poor J.C., the best singer in the bunch & he can't catch a break. He was the only one who still has "it." He did make me sad for him when he riffed by himself at the end. Cringe.
@Bunni, I'm also a JC fan, and I agree that his last-minute vocalizing sounded like a man desperately looking for a job.
But hey, maybe someone will give him one. Robin Thicke was in a career lull before he fell in with Pharell.
Some gifted producer out there could certainly still resuscitate JC's career with an excellent single.
And he's basically just told the music world that he still can do it and still wants to do it.
@Nutty Flavor I agree, someone could bring him back to life. There's something off about him though. I watch him on A.B.D.C. & I've noticed it for a while. He's so rigid, he's repressing something & it shows. Makes him less likeable. Justin seems like an open book, even though we know better. I feel like I know something about every member of N'SYNC except him, and he's my favorite. Odd.
@Bunni, there was a lot of talk about him being in the closet, even before Lance came out. But I agree, he seems slightly creepy. And he put out that horrible single about watching two girls make out for his pleasure, which was even creepier.
He also keeps shoving that girl group of his in everyone's face. There are like 15 girls in the group, how the heck do you split that paycheck!? I've also read that they call him 'daddy'. o.O
This. JT is huge because he has continued to work his ass off for it. The guys even admitted to being out of shape and had to go over their moves very slowly, as they couldn't keep up or remember what to do during rehearsal. They've moved on in their lives, while JT keeps at it. If he felt that a longer segment would make them look bad, then he made the right decision. Kirkpatrick couldn't even find the trap door and Fatone was not moving as in-sync as NSync should in the minds of their fans.
Just because she married Justin doesn't mean she had to like NSYNC.
@discoflux I was gonna say maybe she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and realized she'd better avoid the spotlight as much as possible.
He should be respectful. He wouldn't be anything without those guys; he didn't get famous all alone.

Justin owes them respect, simply because they are human beings. I heard an interview that Ryan Seacrest did with JC the day after the performance. Justin called him "a few days ago" and asked if he was interested in getting the group back together. A few DAYS. That is not respect. If the other members of the group weren't up to the level of Justin; its because they had no reason to think they needed to be.
His marriage is fake. He's a douche. The end.
You'd think when you've reached the level of fame JT has, you could afford to be generous to those less fortunate. I guess even the Universe isn't big enough for some egos.
She is possibly the most beautiful waste of space EVER. There was that fabulously beautiful chick with dark hair and crazy eyebrows who costarred with Jean-Claide Van Damme, and even SHE had more verve than Jessica 'walking wet cardboard' Beil.

Rihanna was sitting just one row behind where Justin and his parents were sitting. Justin had cheated on Jess with Rihanna on more than one occasion (two of them coincidentally taken place at VMA after parties; 2007 and 2009). Jessica most likely did not want to be near her. A Vogue magazine interviewer from 2010 noted how awkward it got when the Rihanna rumors was brought up.
