Today's Blind Items - The Abuse
This actress is probably no greater than B- and that is being very generous. Now that her show is off the air this mostly television actress is probably closer to C+. Ever since she has separated from her more famous mostly television actor husband she has been telling people the tales of their relationship. She says that he would always verbally abuse her if she ate anything more than salad and at one point in their relationship she was about 100 pounds even though she is almost six feet tall because she just didn't want to have him scream at her about eating. She so damaged her body from not eating for so long that she can't seem to gain more than about twenty pounds and still looks frighteningly thin.
Our actress says that when he would cheat on her that he would tell her that she was the reason and that she should do things better and he would not cheat as much. This of course made her scared to do anything and made her put up a wall of insecurity that still has not come down and that he would tell her the names of all the women he slept with so now when she sees them on television or movies it causes her to freak out and withdraw for days on end.

Listen ladies, if you got the crazy, don't just sit in denial about it. Do what you can to try and get on a healthy path, or some equally damaged schmuck gonna take advantage of it.

Jennifer Carpenter is very tall, but she never appears thin in an unhealthy way.
If she was only 100lbs at her height, I would imagine she'd begin to get into the Kate Bosworth territory of thin.
According to her IMDB profile (for what that's worth) Carpenter is 5'8". Also, her divorce from Hall was finalized in December 2011.
I seriously doubt her body is too damaged to gain more weight. More likely she has psychological issues

according to IMDB,Carpenter is 5'8" ,she never was skinny (she's thin),they are separed since august 2011 and divorced since dec 2011 and since she's in couple with a soon-divorced musician since 9 months(at least)

I believe Jennifer Carpenter and MCH are still friends in real life. I thought she got really skinny for a few seasons of Dexter though, but I hope this is not them.

I think Lewis and McCrory "enjoy a mutually combatative" relationship, plus I wouldn't class her as too skinny; she was in a photoshoot for the Sunday Times this year ands she looked great!
I didn't think of Jennifer Carpenter, who was looking fierce schkinny in some recent series. I hope not as Debra Morgan is my TV best friend (the only female character I have ever come across that swears as much, and as creatively as I do. And yes, my TV boyfriend is Malcolm Tucker, although I would do a line with Jamie if he wasn't a Rangers fan).

Damaged her body for so long that she can't gain more than 20 lbs? Really? You mean that's the secret? Never heard of that. So if I starve and damage my body, I can then years later eat cheesecake, clam chowder, cookies and all fattening stuff, and not gain much weight?
I've heard that when you starve and damage your body so much, and if you're able to get healthy, you end up becoming heavy, because you screwed up your metabolism so badly.
@crila16, I found that odd too…I've never heard of extreme dieting causing you to always have trouble *gaining* weight. I've heard it causes you to have trouble *losing* weight because your metabolism is so fucked up and your body clings to every bit of fat.
It makes me sad when women put up with men like this.
You are correct. I was thinking the same thing as I read this. Your metabolism slows way down. Not the opposite.
I thought Jennifer Carpenter did the "don't get mad, get even" thing -- she was either the answer or the popular guess for the BI about actress that "stole" $100K from her cheating hubby, and also turned the Dexter cast against both MCH and JStiles by publicly exposing the cheating (to the point where JS begged her to call off the dogs because it was killing her career).

I took the body damage thing to be Entynese that she was mind-damaged so she couldn't get her brain to a place where she could chow down on porkwiches with lardshakes.
wow I feel for her. The same kind of thing happened to me with my ex husband…And I did the same exact thing as she did in retaliation- I put up a wall and avoided him like the plague and just hated being around him. but was happy enough when i then snuck off and ate my self a cheeseburger, thank you very much. I always thought that that was bad of me for blocking him out as a result.
