The barely hanging on to celebrity husband of this A list mostly television actress from a very hit network show does not get much in the way of funds from his wife. He used some of her money on bad investments and he has lost the vast majority of his savings. He has been cold calling former colleagues asking them for money and even bugging the friends of his wife looking for funds.

@sandybrook why didn't she just go with Goldwyn? His marriage doesn't even seem like a happy one. Doesn't makes sense to go to all this trouble to hide a baby's identity. Noone would have cared.

Good question and-so-on. The short answer is that she has been hiding her real relationship for years (with Tony Goldwyn), got unexpectedly pregnant and Tony Goldwyn's estranged wife was trying to ruin Kerry just out of spite, cause there's no love left between her and her estranged husband. There were rumors spreading quickly about Kerry being a homewrecker right before this fake marriage with the gay football player happened. Nothing further from the truth, because that marriage was dead ages before, of course. So they organized a fake marriage, so that Kerry would be protected publicly and they could go on living as always. It's actually quite simple if one thinks about it. Just a fake marriage image in order to protect Kerry's life. The story on why Nnamdi Asomugha agreed to it is longer but in short: he is gay and closeted, and in that moment had an urgent need to not be outed. It's not even that big secret that he is gay, actually. Many football fans have known forever. Plus he needed money, so this was very convenient for him. Kerry could and should have picked much better, but I guess things just came together in that moment.

Nnamdi Asomugha is not lazy, and he graduated from Cal wiht a degree in finance, but if he blew over $50M he miiiiiight be an idiot.
Tony comes from serious money. His grandfather was a pioneer of the entertainment industry- Samuel Goldwyn (the 'g' in MGM). I believe he's been married for ages and probably doesn't want to pay half of a ton of money. Well, Steven Spielberg paid Amy Irving $100 million and moved on with his life, Tony should do the same.

I don't know if Nnamdi was ever worth $50 million. He had a 5yr/ $60 million contract with Philly but was cut after 2 horrible seasons. I think he got a guaranteed ~ $20 million before taxes, as well as the burning hate of Eagles fans for eternity. Philly fans, coach and teammates saw him as a complete failure and waste of a multi-million dollar contract. His career just imploded after that. I know he has a BS in Business-doesn't mean he can manage money. I can see him using Kerry. He has a shady personal rep. like a lot of football players.
I think a lot of this stuff is made up. Kerry is happily married to Nnamdi. The baby is both of theirs. She isn't trying to hide anything. She chooses not to have her private life out there for public consumption. Goldwyn has been married for years. They are not having an affair. They only appear together in public when it pertains to the show. They do not hang out with each other outside of the show. As far as Nnamdi calling her friends for money makes no sense. She is worth millions and so is his family and the family's foundation. As far as him being gay that is utter bull. He has children from past relationships so its obvious that he likes women!
Ellen, he signed a deal worth 28.5 million guaranteed with the Raiders before joining the Eagles. 28.5 plus the 25 million guaranteed in the Eagles deal is 53.5 million. He made more than that though, so realistically made over 60 million in his career. That doesn't account for taxes or fees to agents however.
If you figure 40% in taxes, then 20% to agents you get 24 million. The %'s aren't super accurate, but I'd say he got 20 million from his career when all was said & done. If he did get a degree in finance & lost 20 million bucks, doesn't say much about the finance program at his university.
NFL contracts aren't guaranteed. Only signing bonus is. His was 25 million for 5 years. You don't get all the money upfront. He played for the Eagles two years. He received only 14 million from the Eagles. The 4 million they had to give him when he was released.
Most of his money had been made with the Raiders. Close to 50 million for his career. Maybe he's blown most of it. *shrugs*
SW, some years of an NFL contract are guaranteed. Articles about his contracts with both the Raiders & Eagles specifically say he was guaranteed 28.5 million from the Raiders & 25 million from the Eagles. That was money he got, the rest of the years on the contracts were not guaranteed.

Ummmm anonymous... pretty sure having children doesn't mean you can't be gay. And the gay rumors have been around since he was in Oakland. Stop acting brand new when it comes to this 'couple'. Also he doesn't care for the previous children. That doesn't seem like something Kerry Washington would actively endorse, does it??? This is a sham rapidly approaching it's expiration date.
Sally, he has children with someone that is not in anyway famous. So if one is gay he wouldn't be having sex with a female. As far as Kerry is concerned that was something that happened before she even entered the picture. Actually she knew him for a couple of years before she married him. So she knew about those kids and his relationship with them and married him anyway. So she "endorsed" it. She even had her own child with him. If this was a sham there would be photographic evidence by now. The paparazzi are relentless, money hungry vultures who would have taken pictures of him hanging out with gay guys or caught her with Goldwyn at a non-Scandal event. But there are no pics because there is no truth to the rumors.
They're not married. His camp confirmed that two years ago.
What I think is going on is, that baby is NA but he was a donor for KW. She wanted a child badly and she asked a trusted friend. She doesn't want the public to know this so they fake a "marriage".
Don't know what to believe. Both sides claim to be in the know, but never provide any proof or explanation about where they get their info. Regardless, something is not what it seems between Kerry and Nnamdi. When they're together, they act like they barely know one another. Hardly what I'd call a happily married couple.
