Today's Blind Items - That Didn't Turn Out Well
Hopefully the movie will be something special because the destruction in its wake is epic. Right at the start of 2016, this A-/B+ list mostly movie actor who is an Academy Award winner/nominee took on a project with this A-/B+ list mostly movie actress who is a multiple Academy Award winner/nominee. The two subjects of our blind also share another trait in the acting world. Anyway, the two had shared a spark when they worked together previously, but nothing happened. At the time they first worked together, he was married and she was in a long term relationship.
When they reunited early this year, their relationship situations were identical, but this time they took the friendship into something way more. The next thing you know, even before they started filming the movie they are full on having sex whenever they get a chance. Hotel rooms under fake names. She is bringing him to family owned properties across the country. They are doing this while juggling relationships. He didn't do a very good job and his wife busted him and kicked him out. That was a wake up call to the actress who called it quits on the relationship. Fast forward a few months when they start filming and the two start hooking up again. This time though, she gets busted and ends up calling it off with her boyfriend. So, this means our two subjects are free to be with each other. Right? Well, the actor didn't see it that way and for the first time in forever he is single. He is also way more famous than the last time he was single. He has sex with everyone which makes the actress feel worthless. He is coming to the set with lipstick and hickeys on his body. After filming wrapped he did find someone he called his girlfriend but he cheats. A lot. He cheated as recently as last night on her.

I feel like this is Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara but it doesn't entirely fit.
Well actually I guess it does fit them. They did Ain't Them Bodies Saints together and the second project is called A Ghost Story. He was married, she has/had a boyfriend. Both have a sibling who also acts. Casey cheated on the Lima girl last night? With whom?

Manchester was filmed last year. It screened at Sundance in January. What showbiz trait would Affleck/Williams share?
Affleck/Mara makes sense, as the showbiz 'trait' they share would be having siblings in the acting profession perhaps? They worked together in 2013 in "Ain't Them Body Saints" (when he was still married to Summer Phoenix and she was in the LTR with Charlie McDowell). They recently wrapped up "A Ghost Story." He separated from Summer earlier this year, and, as most in here know, he's been the subject of a lot of blinds suggesting he sleeps around a lot.
The whole "family properties" wants me to say it's a Mara sister. Is the one still dating billy Elliot? If they broke up then I'd say it's her.
Actually, Affleck is not an award winner, and neither is Mara. Nominated, but not winners. Is this just Enty being ambiguous with his descriptions (i.e., winner/nominee supposed to mean "either/or")? Affleck/Mara makes the most sense, but he should stop calling them "winner/nominees" if they've never won.
That is why he writes "nominee/winner" -- to specify "nominee but not winner" might make it too easy.
Brad & Marion fit the descriptions.

What makes it more confusing, though, is that I've seen just "nominee" before, too. Throwing the "winner" in there just to be ambiguous seems a bit inconsistent, but whatever... no skin off my back. They're just rumors.
Casey Affleck fits with the discription of being more famous now than when the couple first got together.

Actually I have heard CA is well endowed. more so than his bigger brother at least. I don't understand Mara's appeal. She's kinda plain, no charisma and a boring actress. I believe this is them in the blind.
