I'd say Redmayne is knocking it out of the park; he and his beard at least seem to enjoy themselves and his career is doing great. Cumberbatch though always looks haggard around his old nag, which is aging the lizard man in a bad way, and his career is moving as fast as molasses in winter.
These three are like the Goldilocks of bearding - this one (TH) is too over the top obnoxious, this one (BC) is a soul sucking career killer, and this one (ER) is just right.

I read the article online and cringed/ uncomfortably giggled my way through it. He went wayyyyyyy over the top. Sounded like a complete chump. And the accompanying pics were delightfully gay. But it did get his name trending, so if he really is as repulsive a fame whore as he seems then he's probably happy about the results.
Made my day to revisit the picture of Hiddles screaming down the Plastic Water Slide with tay's "squad" as he called them, as well as the one where he is hugging her with all the passion one would give to one's mum. And then whining that some of those pics were unauthorized and out of context. ?

@Hortensia. Hidldleston made it everyone's business when he sat on a rock and hired paps to take harlequin romance style pictures with Hollywood's power beard closeted lesbian. The only reason being he lusted for the media attention. Eddie redmayne is closeted and married and I've never seen a picture of his beard. If you're gonna beard up at least don't insult people's intelligence. Hiddlesswift was all to cover the kimye expose of Taylor's manipulation and lies. Taylor panicked. I wonder if they "get back together " to try and redeem themselves. It's only going to look more fake the second time around.
I can see this gq story paving the way to a reconciliation and both embarking on a lavender marriage together.
