Blind Items Revealed #5

April 6, 2017

This A list daytime talk host whose hair color changes with the new show season berates his weary producers in front of the studio audience if a show goes over “live to tape” in time because he’ll hit traffic on the George Washington Bridge coming home from the studio. Meanwhile, the producers will be working until 10 pm wrangling possibly pregnant guests for the next day’s taping. He also wants the guests pre-produced not to touch him. If they do, the producer will be in for another reaming.

I know this would be hard to believe but at one time Maury Povich was a very respected news anchorman in Washington DC, and his father Shirley Povich is considered one of the greatest sports journalists of American history.

Jerry Springer was a decent politician, until he paid a hooker with a check.

He actually became mayor of Cincinnati after he did that, but it screwed him when he tried to run for governator and they used that against him.

My wife hates when I say that...

I always wonder if someone with past glory looks inward at times and wonders where they took the wrong path? Perhaps a paycheck is a paycheck but it has to be sad and tedious to be doing the same gig for years without variation? I did not know about his father.

Honestly I wouldn't want his guests to touch me either. Don't blame him for that.

I'd actually prefer my politicians to go to hookers (and decriminalise-to-regulate sex work—but not using the "Nordic Model", FFS) than be the type to got for "red carpet girlfriend" arrangements (which is more disgraceful and comes off far more desperate/thirsty, IMO) or emotionally-cheat/publicly-humiliate on their spouses.

But then again, I'm also the girl who said she'd be more hurt to find her boyfriend with a woman than a man (so 99.99% of the population will probably disagree with my views... Again).

Sorry, I meant to say " to find her boyfriend IN BED with a woman than a man". I'm disoriented and my head is spinning, not sure why.

I'm not surprised. I find it in turns creepy when serious, hilarious in jest, sexy never.
