This foreign born A- list mostly movie actor with a superhero franchise and not named Cumberbatch is such a pretentious f**k. Seriously. He went to one of the best schools in his home country but tries to act like he had no privilege at all growing up which is a complete lie. He likes to pretend he struggled to find a place acting when he has been given one break after the next because of how he grew up.

Ugh. I hate hearing my favs are shitty people. I guess i should just get used to disliking everyone in Hollywood.
How is this a blind exactly? Does Enty really hate Hiddles that much or is this just sour grapes via submission from a possible former fan?
However, can a cockney boy do right by Shakespeare? OK, he's disingenuous..but he is an excellent actor. His Henry on PBS was v. good as was "Night Manager". In casting, often education=opportunity. Also the closet. An actor cannot book romantic leading man and be "out". At least not YET.

it's kind of a "thing" in england for actors to downplay having posh backgrounds. the viewing public gets annoyed when rich kids get all the plumb working class roles.

I don't blame him. It's the whole culture of England. People think bc they speak English they are the most like us but are very different. It is frowned above to rise above your station - a caste type system- or change your inherited business. The people most like Americans are Aussies.
Enty has so far identified Tom as straight and a horndog who sexts his ladies and gets them confused, as gay, and as bi. Everyone who works with him describes him as being such a kind, well-mannered, thoughtful person but not Entry, he just loathes him. Funny, it began to happen right around the time that he dumped Elizabeth Olsen--how much do you wanna bet that Lizzie is one of his sources and rather embittered apparently?
Don't be silly, a movie star in a relationship has far better things to do that spend time submitting fake BIs over some guy she briefly dated. It's fangirl stans submitting them, same as all the Cumberbatch and Larry blinds.
Enty, give him a break. At least he's not constantly "humble-bragging" about it, or moaning about how he "can't do a Cockney accent" to "inadvertently" bring it up (or hanging around shitty people he went to school with because "and don't you ever forget it"). He's one Brit who doesn't seem to have some sort of twisted complex about it.

Tom Hiddleston is a part of the white elite from the UK like Benedict Cumberbatch and Eddie Redmayne they were rich to start with. Hiddleston is dating Kenneth Branagh who is a famous actor and director he always had a leg up. The UK press have always said class is a huge barrier in UK to get into acting.
Wrong Australians are nothing like Americans because Americans lack class. Nobody from the English speaking world wants to be compared to Americans.
Since will was a working class actor from the west midlands in the C16 and his plays are full of words/phrases from that milieu. I'd guess he'd sound like ozzy osbourne or john oliver today.
"Movie star" in a "relationship?" Is there another Elizabeth Olsen who actually has a career? Because other than the Avengers crap, her only other projects are of the bargain basement variety that are so bad they don't even make the festival rounds, forget about being actually released to anything other than straight-to-video. And her new love was nothing more than a photo-op--ENTY posted that one himself. Think about it-you mean to tell me that she was ready, willing, and able to happily pose for photos when the mere sighting of a photog is usually enough to send her fleeing in the opposite direction doing a nasally whine through her plastic surgery given nose?
