There was a video of Janet and Paris yelling at each other I think? Which cousin,someone remember? Janet did nothing for Michael 's kids, that's all I know for sure.

Janet did do something to those kids. She staged a hostile takeover at Katherine's house to save the kids soon after MJ's death, if I recall correctly. The kids didn't want to go with her. Some said Janet only wanted control over the estate. That might be mean.
I hate when people say Janet is the normal one. She is just as messed up.
Yes, I think Janet and Paris too. Paris has said she was sexually assaulted as an early teen, it’s quite likely that she tried to confide in Janet. Wouldn’t surprise me if Janet ignored it, she’s all about herself. Guessing that the alleged assaulter is Trent Jackson, Devil Joe’s nephew. He’s a shady dude, took control of Katherine and MJ’s kids for several years until Katherine finally took legal steps citing elder abuse by Trent.
Yeah I think everybody got it, apparently that family was several orders of toxic.
@Plot That intervention was actually to take Katherine away from Trent. But in doing so it meant that MJ’s kids were left unsupervised with him and without a guardian (until TJ stepped up) Katherine was the only stability those kids had after MJ died, so understandably they didn’t want Katherine taken from them. Janet, Randy and Rebbie, checked Katherine into a spa retreat in Arizona and refused to tell Michael’s kids where she was or if she was ok. Meanwhile MJ’s 3 kids were left alone with Trent, a sexually aggressive, violent psycho. Janet could’ve afforded to make sure the kids were taken care of properly during that time, but she took their guardian and left them hanging. Not cool.

Not cool at all! No wonder Paris hates her. That lends credence to the stories of Janet wanting control of the MJ fortune, doesn't it, by whisking Katherine, the executor, away to Arizona.
That's horrible.
Agree with the poster somewhere above that calling Janet the normal one is insulting. She's not normal by a long shot. Faking pregnancy under a chador in the Middle East is not normal.

Janet Jackson always reminds me of a classic Beavis & Butt-Head scene. They're watching one of her videos where she's doing a fair amount of hip thrusting. Butt-Head looks over and is appalled to see that Beavis has climbed up onto the corner of the couch and appears to be humping it.
Butt-Head: Ugh! What are you doing, Beavis?
Beavis: Doin' my monkey boy.
Butt-Head: Dammit Beavis, get down!

Latoya is in Barcelona watching the Royal wedding. She looks like Michael and it is really sad. She was so pretty back in the day!
@Sal T, Yes it becomes obvious pretty quickly that celebrities generally are boring as sh!t. The people running around behind the scenes, putting everything together, making sure it works, etc are way more interesting.
@Plot Janet is really mean with money. She has plenty of it but hates giving any to family or even paying her staff above minimum wage. MJ used to keep the family afloat financially. Plus he paid for all the Jackson nieces, nephews and extended families private school and then college fees, then their kids schooling too! (there are a ton of Jackson’s!) Janet never offered to pay for any of it, she was happy with MJ footing the bills. Janet wanted MJ’s money to be spread between Joe, Katherine and the siblings, that way she believed they wouldn’t start pressuring her for money. Unfortunately for her it didn’t work out that way. His will stated that 20% of his money would go to charity, then the rest would be shared equally between Katherine and his 3 kids. Once Katherine has passed, her share then goes back to Michael’s kids. So apart from what Katherine hands out, none of the other Jackson’s are provided for. Janet holds a grudge against MJ’s children because of this (even though it’s not their fault) and refers to them in private as “those 3 rich white kids”
@Sal That indicates a hell of a warped ego to think she could change a will or immobilize her mother (probably going the diminished capacity route) to seize control.
No matter what one thinks of MJ, he did put some thought into how to pass on his fortune. Katherine probably still helps out the whole family with his estate, but better her than Janet.
The boys seem alright, fairly normal. Paris is probably too beautiful to end up mentally sound, given the way she was raised and the attention she craves.
Michael was very good with money. He paid his siblings (not Janet) an allowance from what I understand and they all resented him for that. I believe what someone upthread said about his looking out for his nieces and nephews.
I remember hearing (reading) that he warned his kids about his siblings and not to trust them.
He was not good with money. He owed millions in debt.
$500 million in debt, and MJ was likely to be sued for using his catalogue as collateral for multiple enormous loans.
4 months after he died his estate made a chunk of it back, and moved on to be a powerhouse estate -

I don't know if MJ set things up with lawyers before he died to take such amazing advantage of his death, but it sure seems like it since it happened so quickly. Or Katherine chose exactly the right people, in a hurry, to manage it.
Michael was smart enough to hand over his estate to a powerhouse entertainment firm who have handled it brilliantly.
Yeah, Jay. Janet was pulled tighter than a drum. And she's over the tipping point with that nose. She's had to have at least 4nose jobs. What is it with that fam and their body dysmorphia? Her nostrils are perfect triangles. The triangle nostrils are the by product of a bad job. The get more geometric everytime she resurfaces.
