Blind Item #4

Another day and another vulture coming out of the woodwork to try and shake down the estate of this foreign born permanent A list singer. The idea is to just cause as much trouble as possible and be enough of a nuisance where someone just cuts them a check for $1M if they can get it. My guess is they will get something in the very low six figures. They have no chance of winning, but it is more about weighing how much it will cost to prove that against just cutting that check.

Why couldn't they just come out and admit he killed himself? He had been battling long term drug addiction and depression and his own family members have outright said he's was still on heroin. Loved George, loved his music, the last thing he would have wanted was for people to lie about how he chose to pass.

I love(ed) GM as well. By all accounts, a true gentleman and a selfless, charitable man.

I don’t know how he passed(have a suspicion), but if was intent to leave this world,it should remain private as only his family probably what he would’ve wanted /his wishes etc. Either way this was a big loss to many people..as evidenced by tributes and his wake etc

The cause of death was reportedly cardiomyopathy which isn’t unheard of in chronic drug and alcohol users. I feel for his sisters who have to deal with these vultures and seem to have tried to handle his estate privately.

Because of the date... xmas. I assume he chose his exit. He had always said he wanted to die on Christmas. Love the man... love the music... will ways love his legacy!

Ugh. I miss him, he deserved so much better.

He gave us his heart on Christmas.

If this was intentional or if God called him home, well played my Friend.

I so wish we'd gotten more music out of George Michael. "Listen Without Prejudice" is one of my favorite albums of all time.

I still think something shady went down with Fawi Fazad, who had a previous celeb lover die young and claimed to be sleeping in a car outside Michael's house while the singer was dying inside. I don't buy it.

Is suicide more tragic than an inadvertent drug overdose? Both are tragic.

If he did kill himself, his heirs wouldnt get any life insurance payouts

If he chose to go out his way, it won’t affect the Love his fans have for him. His partner reminds me of the Markle clan !

I could not abide his music and his 'personal' tastes were not the sort of thing that would interest me but from what I have heard from many sources and even people who met him , he was a decent stick who never knowingly harmed anyone so it would be nice if any parasites might be destroyed.

Not neccesarily true. Suicide clause for life insurance is 2 years. Most Insurance companies will pay a death benefit if the policy was taken out longer than 2 years before death if insured by suicide.

"Another vulture" - in addition to Fadi Fawaz? - probably Kenny Goss.

Last Christmas is a sad Christmas song.

I prefer something more upbeat, like Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer.

Agree that"another " vulture" means someone beside Fazed, but I don't think it is Goss.

No way is the other vulture Kenny Goss. I actually think it is Fawaz, knowing Enty's (lack of) command of the English language. The being a nuisance and causing trouble to get paid is Fawad's MO.

Loved George and his music. He was one of the musical healers. George was on a higher level, spiritually, which is why Sony and so many others tore him apart.
