There is a new book out there about Old Hollywood and says that a pair of permanent A list mostly movie actors were long time lovers. Nothing more distant from the truth. In the past, the author was already debunked about numerous claims and stories they have written.

ReplyDeleteLooking at a list of recent books about Hollywood-- someone wrote a big-ass novel about the making of "Giant." Which, to be fair, was a pretty damn good movie...
Darwin Porter, professional liar, has a new book out on Carrie fisher and Debbie Reynolds. It's probably a story from out of that book.

Why not they both like little boys (and girls) and Hope was part of the spy network within the USO.

There's a recent Netflix documentary by Matt Tyrnauer who supposedly has researched the claims made in Scotty Bowers' 2012 book. He was able to contact people who are still alive who did Bowers' bidding for clients back in the day.

ReplyDeleteI believe the book is 'Hollywood Babylon Strikes Again' by Darwin Porter & Danforth Prince. It is just been published (in hardback.) It's on my wishlist and I guess waiting until a cheaper copy came up. I won't bother to now.
