Today's Blind Items - Questions Remain

The investigation into the death of this A list celebrity continues to move forward. By my count, at least three dozen people have been interviewed. Included on the list are seven, count them seven people the significant other of the celebrity was cheating on the celebrity with. Not cheated on, but cheating. I'm not sure how the significant other had time to do anything but cheat. Apparently the cheating was causing a lot of friction between the pair and the fact that the significant other was using the funds of the celebrity to pay for all of this cheating. We are talking not tens of thousands of dollars, but hundreds of thousands of dollars in gifts and cash and trips and expenses. This was not money the celebrity had just kicking around the house but money that was essentially everything the celebrity owned, all going towards the good times of the significant other. Also interesting is that $5M boost to the life insurance policy of the celebrity about nine months ago that was already at $10M. There is an attempt at spinning at those close to the significant other, but it won't change the result.

  1. If the insurance was added that recently,it won't be paid for suicide. I'm going with Kate Spade as well, because Asia is unlikely to get a big payout.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Bourdain and Asia weren't married and hadn't been together that long - presumably she had no access to his money - besides, she probably wasn't a beneficiary of his life insurance.

Sadly, this sounds like Kate Spade.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Spade makes sense but never heard of her until she died. Maybe I am under a rock but ya, she wouldnt be A list to me

    ReplyDelete
  4. Spade is definitely A list. A fashion icon. Interesting that "significant other" is used instead of "spouse". Or would that have been too easy to guess.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Kate Spade. Meanwhile David Spade was just singing her praises and tearing up on camera. No doubt he adored her, but his brother is a mess.

    ReplyDelete
  6. If you were in NY or LA or the fashion world at all, you knew Kate Spade. She was a brand unto herself, like Gucci. At her height, I would even call her A+.

    ReplyDelete
  7. This person was really dedicated to cheating! Like you have just cheated and came home and relaxing at home but your fone rings and you have to go out again to someone else! If only...

    ReplyDelete
  8. I always thought and I thought it was a BI as well that Kate Spades husband was gay.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I noticed when David Spade first paid tribute to her,he didn't mention his brother,or post a picture of them with him. Very deliberately posting photos of himself with her.Hmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  10. The use of "significant other" instead of "spouse" makes lean toward Bordain/Argento.

Plus she's had a bunch of #metoo folks write an open letter telling people to leave her alone, that it isn't her fault he killed himself.

Plus she bugs the &#$! out of me.

    1. She bugs the $&@! out of me as well, but sadly, I don’t think she’d even have to ask him for $. I think he’d gladly give it to her. From what his friends have said, he was obsessed with her.

As far as the ‘open relationship’ goes, that is what Rose McGowan said. I believe it was open on her side, but not on his. Why else would she have begged the pap to delete the photos of her & the journalist grinding on the dance floor? Apparently, he saw the pics on Monday, stopped following her on insta, was very depressed for the next 3 days (according to people on location), & was dead by Friday.

I think she is a dirty, filthy sociopathic slut who uses people without regard, & I do believe that her cheating was the ‘last straw’ that pushed him to suicide, but I don’t think this blind is about them, as much as I wish it was.

  11. If Asia was working with him on his own show he may have been paying for all of her travel etc to Cannes et al. He left everything to his daughter but it wasn't that much.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Only reason I'm going for Argento is the 'significant other' and because they had an 'open relationship.'
I still don't think anyone is responsible for his death but that kind of toxic environment is bound to have an effect on someone. Being left for someone else by someone who claims to love you over and over and over again? Fuck, man. Humiliation to the max.

    ReplyDelete

    1. That was my thought, but Spade makes more sense. Saying significant other could just be less specific than saying husband. This leaves it open for interpretation.and gender.

      Delete
    2. Bourdain didn't strike me as the kind of man who would commit suicide for a skank like Asia Argento. Only young penniless fools without options do that.

      Delete
  13. Bourdain left a very small estate given his recent success. I understand he wasn't fiscally wise in general... but still wonder how much money he threw away on that toxic trollop.

Wouldn't be surprised if he very foolishly spent big bucks trying to promote her "career."

    ReplyDelete

    1. @J - I love the phrase "toxic trollop"! You don't hear that word (trollop) anymore - it needs to be resurrected!

      Delete
  14. Bourdain's final assets totaled $1.2 million. A search says he was worth up to $16 million. Where did all the money go? How does a working A+ lister with 2-3 running shows only have $1.2 million in assets and only $400k of that in cash?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Bourdain gave $$$$ to Asia throughout their relationship and even sent her money to buy the large house she currently lives in in Rome.

If this is Bourdain and Argento then his source is AJ Benza who's been exposing her since AB suicide and has reliable contacts in Rome. If this is the case it is MAJOR backtracking by Enty from the pedo/pizzagate BS he's been posting about the incident up to this point.

    ReplyDelete
  16. She is such a pig.

    ReplyDelete
  17. If it's Bourdain, who would be investigating the death, when the French police immediately declared it a suicide nothing to see here please move along?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Boyrdain left a trust for his daughter. It is worth millions and it was not accounted for in the initial reports of his estate.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Dude, I live in the middle of freaking rural America and I know who Kate Spade is. Definitely A-list and definitely about her.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Most of Bourdain's money is in a trust, where it's protected, for his heirs (presumably his daughter). I think this is Anthony/Asia. Pretty sure Andy Spade needed Kate's money, he was a co-founder of their company. He was definitely having affairs, but not on her dime.

I think the life insurance part of the blind is about how the bump in his policy could be used to put suspicion on the family.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Andy DIDN't need Kate's money*

    ReplyDelete
  22. Couldn't this be about that DJ guy? Avicci or whatever his name was?

    ReplyDelete
  23. This doesn't have the possibility of being Vicky Karayiannis wold it? Not one of you have mentioned it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh ok I get it yes it's prolly spade or bourdain because cornell would be listed as A+ list Singer.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sounds like Spade. Carefully worded.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Wouldn’t this be Spade? I agree with others that I thought the French closed the case

    ReplyDelete
  27. Bourdain and Ottavia Busia-Bourdain never divorced. Legally, she was still his wife and now widow. She is the one in control of his daughter's trust.

    ReplyDelete
  28. This is Spade. He is gay, and had many lovers. Bordain did not hand money to Asia, as she was a rich kid from a rich director dad. I'm sure she made money as well.

    ReplyDelete
  29. ...and David Spade on Good Morning America... trying to get ahead of it? he would know.

    ReplyDelete
  30. The cash flow aspect of this blind indicates Bourdain and Argento. Also the cheating. The Spades were separated -- cheating wouldn't have been a huge issue, and a few hundred thousand or even a few million would not have been "essentially everything the celebrity owned" if Enty was referring to Kate Spade.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I assume this is not a criminal investigation since the medical examiner already ruled it "death by suicide"?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. All of the deaths mentioned here: Bourdain, Spade, Cornell, and Avicii (with the exception of George Michael), were rightly or wrongly immediately ruled as death by suicide.

Which makes me think that this is not about the cheating, it’s about the life insurance.

      Delete
  32. Bourdain/Argento clue she was photographed "cheating". The Spades TOGETHER were worth 150 million dollars. Bourdain at death 1.5 million. Blind seems to refer that this celebrity had not a lot of money. Definately not the Spades, but about Bourdain/Argento. What a dirty Thot.

    ReplyDelete
  33. at first i thought it was kate spade, but after reading it again and thinking bourdain, i've changed my mind.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Chris Cornell and his awful wife Vicky. Previous blinds indicated that she was in on the plot to get him hooked on drugs, which could be used later to murder via intentional overdose. If she knew he would die within the next year or so, she could have pushed for the bigger insurance payout.

    ReplyDelete
  35. even if ABs wife opened an investigation because his money was gone and she suspected Asia, it doesnt make sense. Im not an Asia fan, but the increase in life insurance does not involve her, and her net worth is stated to be 16m...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Also it's like the partner was cheating on the others dime. Asia herself is worth 16 million. The boost to his life insurance "There is an attempt at spinning at those close to the significant other, but it won't change the result." Significant other is his ex wife, who possibly had nothing to do with the increase in life insurance. If this was Chris Cornell it wouldnt say A list Celebrit,y Entry would have given CC a different rating.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, significant other would be Asia as she was his gf.

      Delete
  37. Being worth $16MM doesn't mean you don't want more.

Especially when your whole existence is parasitical.

    ReplyDelete
  38. You can only buy life insurance for someone you're related to (spouse, child). I think this is Spade.

    ReplyDelete
  39. right J. +1. and bollocks domestic partners can take out life insurance, especially if the person on the policy nominates the beneficiary.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Trollop is what this callet deserves to be called.

    ReplyDelete
  41. The problem with Spade is that they were partners so shouldn’t hubby have as much money as she did?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I can’t stand Andy Spade, and I think his extra- curricular activities very much contributed to her depression. But I agree, they would have equal amounts of money since they were partners. It would be very difficult to believe that they blew through all that money from the Kate Spade, Andy Spade, & the other business that he started, even with the investment in her new business.

  42. Life insurance laws very by state. but it really should be illegal to take out life insurance without the person knowing. I've watched too many episodes of Snapped.

    ReplyDelete
  43. How can it be Cornell if the insurance was taken out 9 months ago??

    ReplyDelete
  44. Cheating with seven guys sounds like way too small a number for Argento.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Anonymous3:40 PM

    Not George Michael?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh, George Michael! The BI doesn't mention suicide, does it?

Good alternative guess there! And we know George's ex is one greedy MF.

    @Silly

Looked it up and you are correct. Bourdain never officially divorced his wife. So, Ta Da! This BI can't be Bourdain. Asia ain't getting shit from his life insurance.

Yes, Bourdain set up a trust for his kid long ago and probably contributed to it on a quarterly schedule.

    ReplyDelete

    1. We already know what was in GM’s will so a few hundred thousand was definitely not all he had. Yes, Fadi is a greedy MF which is why he is refusing to vacate one of George’s houses, & is trying to illegally sell some of GM’s belongings, but cheater? Nah! He was a first-rate clinger who GM couldn’t get rid of.

  47. +1 @UnKnown @J is not playing. Trollop, callet. What next? Strumpet? I agree, though. Saw the first pic in DM today with AA looking human with a smile. Otherwise she's looking smug, sexy and evil.

  48. David Dpade on talk show circuit right now
Must be very hard for him

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sounds like spade but supposedly they had Millions from selling the company ....but maybe they/ he blew it over the years and that was why they started a new company that seemed to be struggling (another big expense)
He doesn’t seem straight to me and that mouse mask was NUTS.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Another vote for Kate Spade. I still think she was REDRUM'd.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Interesting that the blind doesn't specify a law enforcement investigation. Also note that the blind doesn't say who boosted the life insurance another $5M, only that it happened.

This may be an insurance company investigation to determine whether the life insurance policy does indeed cover this particular death. Policies that can cover suicide usually have something like a 2-year rider on them, which means they don't pay out if the insured commits suicide in the first 2 years after the policy is taken out.

But, that's not so interesting, so the blind gets spun to make it look like a murder mystery, with a specific agenda against the significant other.

Given all the anti-#MeToo on here lately, I think this is supposed to imply Bourdain/Argento.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I disagree. He followed some chick to school at Vassar, lol. He apparently had terrible judgment regarding women.

    ReplyDelete
  53. George Michael can't be it either, the extra insurance was added nine months ago.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Anonymous,sometimes the insurance company is the one that gets it right. The investigation sometimes proves s something is off.Especially involving family members or an unlikely beneficiary.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Another vote for Spade. Look at Andy Spade. He is ugly as f*ck. He would have to shower his lovers with money to get even a little attention.

Also the bit about them starting another company? Why would they do that if they were in good financial shape?

I think finding out he was running around made her feel like the whole marriage was a sham and pushed her over the edge.

    1. He had several companies after the sale of KS: Partners & Spade (a design firm), Sleepy Jones (a lounge wear collection), & is also publishing books. She, on the other hand, stayed at home for all those years to raise their daughter. She started Frances Valentine once she felt the daughter was old enough, & I think she did it for the creative outlet, not the money. Imagine going from being ‘Kate Spade’ to being a stay-at-home mom.

I do agree that he is not an attractive man. The last I heard (this is NY gossip so Idk if it’s true), he was living with a male lover at the time of her death. As a woman, THAT, would put me over the edge.

      Delete
  56. Maybe the nine months is the inaccurate part of the blind. Sure seems like Vicky to me.

    ReplyDelete
  57. This may have already been written but AB helped AA get her new place.
He was generous, but t h e majority of his money, which was excluded for some reason was in a trust for his wife, whom he was still legally married to, and his daughter.
I have heard that there was at least 12 million there.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I agree that if this is Bourdain/Argento it's a big turnaround from the allegations that Bourdain knew his murderers were coming because he had challenged or betrayed some major political or financial cabal.Still I doubt it's them seeing that Argento is a judge in the Italian x-factor reality show and even rehearsed the day after Bourdain's death. Doesn't sound like someone who is at home counting the money, it's not such a prestigious assignment. This has to be Spade

    ReplyDelete
  59. My theory: I think AB’s estranged wife probably saw how volatile AA was, I think 9mos ago (or so) she saw the writing on the wall. Bourdain is an addict, and he was being dragged around by the balls by AA. AB’s ex was known to mess around on him, and she knows what he’s like at his lowest. She probably knew AA was having affairs, too, so I wonder if she upped his policy, knowing what was coming. I think this blind is saying that AA will use the timing of the bump up in coverage to send suspicion towards his ex.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Weren't Kate Spade and her husband separated at the time of her death?

At first I thought it was AB( May he RIP) but the details don't fit. He was a Cancer man and if nothing else he would've made sure his daughter was provided for.

    ReplyDelete
  61. +1 SadieSlade - This perfectly fits the grifter Vicky Karayiannis, and her ex, Chris Cornell. She spent his entire foundation to help children who were victims of abuse. She already had a new BF so she was getting her sugardaddies in a row for when Chris was gone.

  64. Did some research on the Chris & Vicky Cornell Foundation. (I was wondering if this could be the ‘on hand’ $ mentioned in the blind, as opposed to his $60 million net worth.)

Last tax forms filed in 2016. I couldn’t fwd the link so here’s the info:

    Assets end 2016: $367,309
    Contributions 2016: $162,129
Biggest Contributo: $79,025 from Live Nation

Grants: 1 for $2500!!! to Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church for the Children’s Choir

There’s also an ‘outstanding loan’ for $5000 for
the Cornell’s travel expenses which sounds fishy

From 2015: Outgoing expenses were $5000 for ‘Medical Research’ to EBMRF, then a $5000 donation to someone who was ill who had a GoFundMe page. Again this sounds strange. Was the medical research supposedly to vet the recipient? Who’d spend $5000 to research this?

Couldn’t find any tax info for 2017, but the history since inception has been shady with very few donations going out. Doesn’t seem like the foundation that CC had in mind. The widow is still trying to raise $ selling t-shirts, etc.

So the question is, where is this almost $400,000? Did she spend it?

RE: the increase in life insurance she could’ve done that a few years ago. I think the 9 months is a red herring. She knew he was going to die, but didn’t know when. This would be why she is trying so hard to blame the death on Ativan, not suicide, & has been fighting with the ME about the cause of death. She wants her payout.

    ReplyDelete
  65. What I meant to say was she probably did it 9 months before his death. And yes, it would be the insurance company investigating it, not law enforcement.

In terms of people supporting the widow, she’s trying to get everyone to back her Ativan narrative (including Chester Bennington’s widow, who I used to admire before she backed the Vickster), as well as many musicians & PR people. She even goes so far as to call out fans online who refer to his death as a suicide. Don’t forget, this woman is a publicist.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I dunno, the reporting on the Spade's wealth that I saw did not make them out to be super wealthy. They only got $9 million from selling their company and then sold the remaining shares before the stock price went up. And that was 10 years ago, and they bought properties with the money. I think they were fighting a lot, running out of liquid capital, and she decided she had to start over with a new company to bring in more income. She was struggling to get it off the ground and he hits her with divorce papers at a delicate time. She would have had to sell her beloved apartment, face the press rumors, face being a single mother, money problems, while she had clearly developed a drinking problem. In her last interview, she looked stressed and worn and struggling. If he was spending like crazy on affairs, it could have pushed her over the edge.

    ReplyDelete
  67. @lulu They sold the first part of the company for $33.6 million, & the second for $59 million. Supposedly she was worth $200 million at her time of death.

    ReplyDelete
  68. OK, it looks like I am pretty far off on that then. I guess we will know more once the estate is finalized in Court.
