This former A+ list singer who now spends his time smoking pot and playing with a jam band has an army of social media bots/workers he hires when he is trying to start a rumor or get something out to the world. It is what he did with a celebrity offspring and is what he is doing again with a one word singer in an attempt to make his fantasy reality. She is not loving it.

John is at that age he is desperate to stay relevant, his elevator music won't chart anymore. So he has to try and align himself with younger artists now. And if he gets to bang them on the side all the better for him.
Will this be John's first black woman? Remember that?
I mean they kinda seem perfect for each other, they both annoy the crap out of me.
Jon's a hasbeen, his pursuing starlets and teasing paps got old fast & back fired on him before. It's why he "disappeared" from public, and just stayed home smoking pot, not bathing wearing the same nasty hat all the time.
He hasn't accepted the fact that he's old to these singers/startlets now. His music is what their moms listen to when they shop at the local grocery store.
Yeah, he had his chance, was doing pretty well, and then blew it. Some people get second chances, but he hasn't seemed to.
Halsey has already demonstrated her predisposition towards scumbags, surprised it took this long for John to come sniffing around.

I've loved all his albums until his most recent which was boring and generally tuneless. But "Born & Raised" and "Paradise Valley" are wonderful. He may be a cad, but his music shows him an artist as well.
