+1 MD - I like her, have liked her since Suburban Shootout opposite a VERY YOUNG Tom Hiddleston.
+2 MD - I also adore Ruth Wilson. She was regular on Affair, Luther and now promoting His dark material role. And wasn't already all over on SM how she can't tell the reason why her character abruptly died on Affair?
+1 MD sounds like Ruth, but I'm confused because she's said multiple times that she CAN'T talk about it. Why would she have been able to now?
Was The Affair a toxic work environment? I have not heard about the show being problematic.
JT, According to Enty, Ruth hooked up with Joshua Jackson & then it went bad. He hasn't elaborated but sounds like he blew her off for someone younger.
@BayAreaGirl Ruth didn't hook up with Joshua Jackson. She did an interview in 2016 where she stated they didn't hookup and were only friends and nothing more. She was emphatic about it. When Ruth left she had only glowing things to say about Josh, Dominic and Maura. When pressed about why she left in interviews nearly a year ago, she urged people to talk to Sarah Treem.
There was this. An actress named Ashlynn Alexander filed a sexual harassment suit against Showtime and “The Affair.” Alexander worked on many episodes of “The Affair” as Wilson’s stand in. She claims that after being sexually harassed by assistant director Travis Rehwaldt she complained to the production and was let go five days later. She is sueing Showtime and the assistant director and it hadn't been settled as of early 2018.
