Blind Items Revealed #1

September 24, 2019

Even though this money laundering streaming service is hard up for programming, they have asked for a ton of changes to this series that wrapped a year ago. It stars the former A- list almost network actor and even a year of reshoots and editing have not made it much better.

Netflix/V-Wars/Ian Somerhalder

So Netflix is laundering money?

Proof?

Or just like always you just act like a chimp and toss shit at the walls?

Oh come on, this isn't Netflix's Dark Phoenix.

I know Ian can be douchey in real life, but, man is he good looking.

LOVED him as Damon and although no Vampire will replace my love of Spike ; P ...I was/ (honestly, still probably am LOL ) going to check out his new series.

Also, I think the money laundering idea comes from the fact that Netflix spends billions on production and yet, somehow, get away with not giving viewership/ ratings for any of said programming when those figures are usually easily available weekly.

Although I'm kind of pissed at Netflix's lack of Halloween related original series in October. Where's my freakin' Witcher and Sabrina you bastards :(

@TeeHee, Spike was awesome, a real vampire, vastly superior to Angel. Plus he always had his funny blanket. 🧛‍♂️🌅🧣

TeeHee@U said...

haha yes Brayson! And, who would like "Captain Forehead"? wears lifts in his shoes you know. ;P

I jest haha but, I did like Angel though. Loved him and Cordy together.

ANd, Sabrina the entire series and some of the movies after the series began are on Hulu. I cannot check at the moment if the OG movie is on it, but, in case you are interested.

Happy October :)

I don't know, Netflix threw $300 million to the Obamas (who have no production or film experience, but okay) and $200 million to the creators of HBO's version of Game of Thrones. That's just off the top of my head. Seems legit.

I am with Gen-Z99. People were divided on the end TVD...but, I loved it!! The brotherly love and sacrifice, perfection in my book. The show went from being a triangle between brothers over a girl (which she adamantly never wanted) to a story of the actual love of brothers. Amazing.

ANd, yes! Ian is just gorgeous all around and I LOVE DAMON

but, Spike....<3. Just all around amazing. IDK, the impossible question is Spike vs. Damon for me.

haha and yes, I know how dorky I sound at the moment, but, I just don't care!

I loved TVD but the books were better, there was no humanity switch. Wesley and Somerhalder definitely nailed their characters though. Wesley doesn't get enough credit for how well he subtly played an ancient trapped in a young man's body. Somerhalder always great as a bad boy of course.

If you read the books you'd know that Candice King should have played Elena, her and her character were way closer to the original Elena. Even evil Caroline was closer to the original Katherine.

Klaus was the boy band version, got to give the female viewers some fan service.

Klaus and Caroline were EVERYTHING. She should have gone with him to The Originals but they needed her to save the shitfest that became the show after Nina left. I’m still not over it lol

I totally get you on the books @Brayson.

I feel your pain. I read the Southern Vampire Mysteries for awhile which True Blood was based off. I never once felt that Aana Paquin understood the character of Sookie (or maybe it is her permanent RBF that turned me off and she is HW gal) or even how Stephen Moyer got Bill. I felt like they were cast because they were willing to get naked for soft core porn on HBO...and their Southern accents...as someone from the South. UGH! haha. DROVE ME INSANE. LOL I get it was suppose to be campy but COME ON haha.

I always felt like that True Blood and their accents are like when the America actors butcher UK accents.. It acquires such talent that few actors have.

Obviously, I love supernatural shows and True Blood is the ONE show I gave up on. I just couldn't because I read the books (and, yes, I know the garbage ending of the of the once great book series.)

Always thought Elisabeth Rohm would has been perfect for Sookie over Anna Paquin.

Anyways, I digress haha, we are talking VAMPIRES people here and it is October haha!!!!
(And, I watched the first Twilight....just no...on so many levels)

Klaus I got. I think he was suppose to be like Damon but the difference was he not rooted in humanity/ connections aka his family/ brotherly love. And, his ending: his brother also stood for him although not deserving. TBH though, never watched The Originals but saw Klaus last scene. I understood it.

TeeHee@U said...

Damon had unconditional love from everyone around him. Klaus tried to control all of his family and used staking and having family/ love on his own terms. Not theirs. But, in the end the brotherly love he tried to control, won out in the end.

@TeeHee, Haha the sh!t I could tell you about True Blood, but won't. Anna Paquin is cool and Nelsan Ellis, god rest his soul, was straight as an arrow in person, never would have guessed from watching the show, phenomenal actor.
Oh please, everyone's accent is Yankee to people from the South, you know it's true. ;)

I'd heard Charlaine Harris distanced herself from a lot of the decisions different showrunners made over time. Stuff like plot points or how in the books not everyone was gay or bi. They didn't even have that weretiger guy. But that's just typical HBO/Showtime translation to the screen.

Never watched Vampire Diaries, but Somerhalder was very good on Lost.

Spike has to be one of fave tv characters. Buffy (before the network switch, imo) was such a great show.

What? You expected them to launder $300 million through another book deal? That would probably put that book in the top 100 books ever sold, and we all know nearly no one is buying political books, if any at all.

drkodos; Seriously?

STFU already.

100 million production deal. Lets buy a 15 million dollar house on the water, no worries, muh global warming is a hoax.

Anna Paquin is probably a lovely person. It has nothing to do with her as a person.PROMISE!

I have nothing against her...except her stupidity for defending Jussie Smollette so adamantly publicly. But, many a gullible folks did the same.

And, come on Brayson...do you have a NDA ??? Fair game! I want to know you tease! haha

ANd, True Blood was essentially fanfiction based off a novel like I have never seen.

Ian is waaaaaaay hot. I would be honored to do his laundry. So what if the series is bad? I will deal with it.
