This Congressman represents a very conservative Midwest district. He has publicly considered a run for an open office this year, higher up on the totem pole, in his state. The primary is already crowded, but that isn’t the real reason our Congressman will not run. Our Congressman is deeply closeted, and would be outed by his opponents in a contested primary.
