Apparently this A+ list mostly movie actor who is almost up there as far as directing goes is trying to simplify his life which is why he has been giving up roles and basically walked away from a television production. Rehab is a strong possibility but he can’t do it with a ton of projects to juggle.

Another view: good for him, he's getting his life together.
he has enough money to retire from everything but rehab and fixing his marriage, for as long as it takes. one addiction leads to another - overcoming his demons is possible. it would be the best thing he could do with his time and money, for his kids sake, and if this is his plan i wish him all the luck in the world.
Good luck Ben. But I think he needs one of those long time in house rehabs,wonder if he will do it.
Getting off cigarettes would be a good start.

He should also stay behind the camera. I think he's much better off, as are we all.
I really do hope he can get it together! He just seems to have so many issues, but I hope he can conquer them.

Best of luck Ben, to those who throw shade, yeah him and Jen suck but remember they have 3 kids who are innocent and deserve love, stability and both parents healthy.
Unlike Enty, I do think Affleck wants to get his life and family back together. I hope he succeeds.

I actually do not like Jennifer Garner she is a typical Hollywood slut who slept her way to the top. She cheated on Scott Foley her first husband with Michael Vartan. Next this tramp cheated on Michael with Ben Affleck. I think Ben needs to get divorced and go to rehab.
he's not in rehab for the sake of his marriage, kids or family. His relapse was triggered by LBN bombing both critically and commercially and because WB "freed" him of directing Batman: he wasn't clearly able to carry such a commitment with his booze and drugs problem. The family and Garner are the last problem in his mind: she ain't going anywhere, Affleck is her career and has been for a long time now. Affleck has two goals he hasn't been able to satisfy yet and the failure in reaching them is what makes him so miserable: he wants personal Oscars for both acting and directing.
I do not like Andy who smears the female to cover up the bad behavior of the male. I'm not saying Garner is a saint, but Affleck needs to own his mistakes. Then he can begin to become a better person
Boy, Ben Affleck has sure turned evil since the separation. It's like he is living his own personal "Gone Girl" but he hasn't reached the second half of the movie yet plus the girl has no intention of leaving.
Sick of all this Ben bashing. Even this passive aggressive blind buys into the bizarre world Garner narrative.
Mark my words. One day she will bite him in the face.
I actually liked Ben and JLO together. I have never cared much for Jennifer Garner, something off with her. IMO
