linnea, I think Seth is a great guess. He had to lose weight for the role, and we all know what a help a little nose candy can be... maybe he just didn't expect for it to be hard to stop.

Owen comes to Minnesota for rehab. Oh, and that's just one more reason I love him - Hazelden is for people who really want to get clean, not a vacation spa like Promises.
Do you really think so, jax? I have never seen anyone who personifies pothead like seth rogen... I highly doubt that it is just an act for him. I have never seen him get through an interview where he doesnt talk about how smoking pot is his biggest hobby.
I've seen tons of interviews where Seth talks about smoking... whether or not he still does is kinda questionable. I think he seems like he's got his act together. Therefore, I don't think it is Seth... James Franco? I imagine this was timed with the release of Pinapple Express (I think today?). Anyways... just rambling my thoughts!

oh i know he smokes, but he's not the character he plays, dude is writing,acting and producing. he's got it together as others said.

there is a big diff between a 'smoker' and a pothead.

I immediately thought of Seth Rogen. It pains me because I looooove him, but he's a self proclaimed pothead and his weight loss for the role of green hornet is what got me for this BI. If it isn't him (and I hope to God it's not) I would say it could be Harrison F, Mathew McConeheigh or Keanu.
Jax, I had a girlfriend who ran in the crew - admittedly, years ago - but Seth was a full on pothead. I just wouldn't dismiss it so quickly as being "acting".
I'm going with Seth. Saw him in a magazine the other day and barely recognized him and I don't think his drastic weight loss is attributable to healthy eating and working out! Sad if true but the first thing I thought when I saw him was "How did he get so skinny so fast?"
I'm on the Seth Rogen/James Franco/Jonah Hill band wagon. Don't forget Jason Segal. I've read/seen interviews with most of them and they talk about smoking pot.
James Franco isn't a pothead. I've been a fan since Freaks & Geeks and throughout the years he has always said in interviews that he doesn't smoke. Of course I can't find any of them now. I read one over the summer with Seth where he said that the cast of F&G would smoke together and James would be off in a corner by himself because he didn't. I also read one over the summer with James where he said students at Columbia had tried to give him weed because of Pineapple Express but that he refused because he doesn't partake.
When asked if he smokes on Leno in August Seth's response was "I'm gonna say no but the answer is yes."
That being said I don't think this is either of them but I have no idea who it is.
Def Franco he hasn't been at a single awards shows even though he nominated.
