Michael Lohan Says Lindsay Lohan Is Addicted To Prescription Drugs
I know Michael Lohan is a publicity whore, but I can't believe he actually came out and said his daughter is addicted to prescription drugs. I take that back. I could believe he would say such a thing if his reality show had been announced and he was plugging the premiere episode of it. But, with no Jon Gosselin signed as of yet, I am shocked he would admit his daughter is addicted and that now police will wonder who exactly is prescribing these drugs to Lindsay or if she is acquiring them illegally.
Michael told Radar, "I'm going to get her off the prescription drugs that she's on. I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse... because it's not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you. Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson."
He is basically daring the cops to investigate his daughter and her drug use. At this point the police need to have a look, because if Lindsay dies and the cops could have done something they will look like idiots. Of course Lindsay's parents already look like idiots because they should get her into rehab. If you say, "they can't force her into rehab and she needs to make that choice herself," you make a valid point. But, what they can do as parents is stop letting their 15 year old daughter Ali go out to clubs with their drug addicted daughter. They can do something about that and choose not to. When Lindsay went to Paris and Singapore who was there? Ali. A lot of f**king home schooling huh? Where is child services? Beginning today I am going to call child services here in Los Angeles everyday until they go out and investigate the living arrangements of Ali Lohan and Cody Lohan.
Michael also says drugs are the reason Lindsay isn't working.
"You know why Lindsay's not acting in feature films right now? Because she can't," he said. "Because the girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that's grown because of the prescription drugs. She can't be herself. When you hug her she's like, vacant inside. When she kisses or holds me I get chills, and not in a good way-in a bad way."

They could create "rock bottom" for her by cutting her off from everything they give her, love or whatnot, like they do on Intervention. I don't know if that would work in this case because it IS the Lohans we're talking about here. If this is true then I feel real bad for her.
All I know is that there were some super scary pics of her from her "fashion debut". She looks older than me and I am about to turn 40. It makes me so sad to see some of here movies as a child, because I really don't think that person with all the talent is there anymore. I do not look forward to the "Lindsey Lohan overdose" head line that will undoubtedly appear in the new in the not to far future.
he's so full of perception now? what about months ago? lindsay's getting her money from the endorsements. i doubt that her family give her anything. or are able to.

Seriously, I get that Lindsay an adult and is fucked up(Meth) Whatever. But to allow her sister to be around the situation is wrong. Dina should be investigated! I've seen kids taken away from their parents for a lot less. This is not going to end well.
best thing he's done in a while..or ever. his kid is an addict, there is nothing a great parent or bad parent can do to get them off drugs if they don't want to.

Curfew laws and minors in clubs/bars aside, couldn't Dina be charged with child neglect and/or endangerment for allowing her 15 year old daughter to go out partying with a known drug abuser, who has a criminal record? Regardless of Lindsay being her big sister, I can't imagine any parent letting their minor child be under the supervision of a crackhead like Lindsay. It's like allowing Amy Winehouse to be the director of a daycare center.
Lindsay Lohan will die if she doesn't get help. Her looks are probably irretrievably lost (thus, no film work), she's probably bipolar, and she's an addict. All of those things together will most likely not end well.
Any parent who lets their 15 year-old kid fly around the world with their unstable 23 year-old sibling needs a legal "intervention" from CPS. Holla.
Let's accept that Dina and Michael are crap parents, but aren't there extended family members who could be stepping up? Say what you will about the Spears clan, but those people know how to circle the wagons. The Lohans should be doing the same before Ali turns up preggo or worse.
Jamie Spears needs to tell these eejits how its done. There ARE ways to get control of her and save her life, if they are really interested in doing so.
The sad thing - or, one of many sad things, I guess, about Lindsay Lohan is that had she had some decent adult role models in her life, and if he parents had parented her instead of managing her career, she could have grown up to be an awesome role model for young girls/ women. I remember seeing these pool pictures of her when she was like 17 (and dating Wilmer Valderrama which is distrubing), she had that long, beautiful red hair and outrageous curves, and the freckles, she looked really healthy and strong. I thought she would grow up to be really beautiful and a Hollywood superstar. And this is how she turned out. I am convinced that had she had some supervision as she was growing up and coming into contact with all these bad things, she might have chosen a different path and she could have been really successful now. She could have been taken seriously. And her little sister has been nudged down the same path. I agree that someone ought to investigate Dina Lohan before all her kids end up the same way.
Hell, Dina's as effed-up on drugs as Lindsay is. Gotta be.

Please do, Enty. I'm with HarrietHellfire. Lindsay Lohan used to have a lot of talent and potential. Makes me sad she threw it all away. She needs help, but I hope her siblings get it before they become like their big sister.

@harriet - i also remember those pictures and can recall thinking wow she is so beautiful. her body was amazing, those curves were to die for. she make all the covers for "best beach bodies" on those trashy magazines.
no she looks likes an emancipated mess. her eyes are so sunken in her head the dark make up makes her look like a raccoon.
don't get me wrong i hate the whole lohan clan - but i do think micheal lohan is really doing the only thing he can right now to save her. shaming her in public. next thing to do is to cut her off - obviously not financially b/c we all know lindsay is the breadwinner here. but emotionally...

Ok. I went back and looked at old photos of her, and she was beautiful. She is really scary looking now.

Between Dina and this douchebag .. I would have been more surprised if Lindsay turned out perfectly adjusted and normal. The fact she is a fucked up, drug/booze/sex addicted mess is just par for the course these two jackasses laid out for her a a young child. And the fact they have two more to fuck up!?! Sweet Jesus .. i cringe at the thought!
I will hope that she gets well and gets away from her family and manages to stay alive .. but I am really, really worried it will not happen this way.
