This married couple is still married but it is pretty much for show. She is an A list singer who drags her husband out of the house for shopping and things. The only reason she is keeping him around is because she has a new album coming out and doesn't want to talk about marriage. She doesn't wear her wedding ring even when they are out together. She makes him sleep in the guest house or at his friends. Meanwhile she has "friends" who come stay with her.

I'm with those guessing Aguilera. I thought Mariah at first, but I don't think she's got an album coming out soon, while Aguilera's in literally right around the corner. Plus, Christina A. has looked like absolute hell lately. A marriage falling apart might explain that.
If the singer doesn't want to talk about marriage, I don't think they're going to make a show out of renewing their vows. I don't think it's Mariah either.

Not Mariah. There's rumors that her weight gain is due to fertility treatments and that she and Nick are happy with each other.
There's no way Mariah will ever dump Nick unless he stops being a happy doormat for her. Although, he doesn't look terribly thrilled in today's picture, does he?
I think it's Xtina too, but she's a dolt...she's been out of the limelight for four or five years now. She had plenty of time to get a quiet divorce and put some time between that and the start of promo for her new album. Now she is going to have to deal with another year of being miserable while she waits for the album cycle to end so she can avoid any questions. Lame.

I haven't seen Christina with her wedding ring on in at least a year, and the only time I see her with her husband is when they are running the occasional errand, so I think it's her. Her husband seems like a good guy; like others on here, I feel sorry for him.
I also believe it's Christina, which is a shame because it seems like her husband is real nice guy.
However, even though she's a mother, it seems she doesn't want to let go of the party life.
Her new video is so ridiculous and hard to watch. She's almost 30. And before you jump on me saying "well Gaga does the same thing" Lady Gaga is 24 and isn't married or a mother.
Christina isn't going to be able to revamp her career by being an "original sexpot." Her Dirrty days are over. It's time she does something respectable and focus on the talent she has: her voice.

Agree with aguilera as the guess ... she talked too much about how wonderful and long lasting there marriage is and now she probably came to the realization that marriage life is not for her, plus i dont see her having anymore kids she doesnt strike me as too maternal either... she just jumped on the bandwagon cause everyone was getting married and having kids... idk

I have no doubt that it's Aguilera- I met her a handful of times (long story short: she and I are distant cousins) and she's always been a a megamanipulative diva bitch who never hesitates to use anyone she can to make herself look good.

While I'm inclined to think this is meant to be about Christina, not wearing your wedding ring isn't a crime. If you feel married in your heart, you don't necessarily need something material to proclaim it to the world, especially since she's well known. We know she's married.
Anyway, it would tear me up it this was her because they both seem genuinely in love with one another.
I like to think that Mariah and Nick are happy together.
I second Ashton's comment on the wedding ring. I'm happily married and usually don't wear my ring on weekends due to the chores, yardwork and such. I take off my rings (engagement, wedding and anniversary) at night to avoid dermatitis.

Have to post about the wearing, or not, of wedding rings. I often don't wear mine, unless I'm going out socially. Daily household chores, yard work, working out are more easily done with out any rings or watches. Also, my dad has never worn a wedding ring, and he and my mom have been very happy together for 42 years and counting. He's a retired farmer and truck driver. A farmer who wears a ring WILL lose that finger. Farm equipment is notorious for catching on rings or watches and ripping off those body parts attached to said jewelry.
