I Got Arrested - Let's Get Married
Sean Stewart asked his girlfriend to marry him shortly after he was arrested. His soon to be wife is the former wife of Kansas City Royals star Jason Kendall. The couple met in rehab. Chantel Kendall is supposedly a good influence on Sean. Uh huh. A source told the NY Post that, "Chantel is excited to be marrying into the family of music royalty." Well, sure, that is a great reason to get married.
Sean's family, including Rod, says they are thrilled he is getting married. Sean currently lives in Chantel's place since he does not have any money of his own. His dad, Rod Stewart cut him off a few years ago so they are probably happy he has someone else now.

I sorta feel sorry for Sean. From watching Celeb Rehab and that other one he did with boy Spelling. He always seemed so desperate for his dad's approval. And more desperate for a singing career with none of his dad's talent.
Rod seems to be most embarassed by Sean and he doesn't exactly hide it. Sadly he seems to be just another hollywood kid with all the opportunities and no ambition.
Say what you will about Rod Stewart but no one can deny he is a hard-worker. He is constantly recording and touring.
How did he manage to raise so many deadbeat kids?
maybe being married 25 times and having kids with all these women hasn't exactly provided his offspring with a solid foundation?

ITA, nancer. Rod doesn't strike me as an unconditional loving-type of dad who lead by example.
Mango, yeah he's a hard worker, but how much was he at home, getting to know his kids for who they are? I have no doubt he bought them plenty of material things, but did he get to know them and help them discover their talents/dreams?
Does anyone know what ever happened with Jason Kendall's divorce from this wonderful woman? I knew there was a custody battle going on and all kinds of accusations from her. I miss Jason being a Pirate and feel for him and his kids.
I first read it as "soon to be ex-wife." Probably not far off.
Good for Rod on cutting this kid off. Difficult for me to go to Sean's pitty party. Seriously, how many folks have a dad that is involved in their lives. Like, 3???
