Sharon Osbourne Quitting America's Got Talent
Howard Stern says Sharon Osbourne is quitting America's Got Talent because of money. Sharon says that is not the reason. Whatever the reason, NBC is freaking out because they have Sharon under contract and the first they heard anything about this is when Sharon tweeted something to Howard after he mentioned on the air that she was not coming back. I think it is all about money. She wants more of it. Howard wants more of it. Sharon probably is not the biggest fan of going to New York from LA all the time. Notice that no one says anything about Howie Mandel quitting. Until Deal Or No Deal comes back, Howie is staying put and getting that check. He knows that finding another comedian to be a judge would not be that hard. Nick is staying put until Mariah tells him to leave.

I could see her leaving because she wants to stay close to Jack and her new granddaughter. Of course Idk the reason...pure speculation on my part.

when is it ever enough money? I mean I'm willing to work for $10 an hour. I don't get what a few more million means to these people?
I read that she was leaving to help Jack like, weeks ago.
Figgy that is the first thought that popped into my mind, or perhaps another health related situation popped up.
Us cancer free peeps always have that devil in our mind sadly sometimes it does pop up. It may not be her orginial diagnosis, because after 5 years they consider you 'cured' but it can come back in another area, and then get labled a different type of cancer.
Like I said, as a just about 4 year survivor, this is the first thing that popped into my mind :(
Second thing was, maybe Jack isn't doing so well at the moment, and she just wants to be Mom.
It seems the judges have great chemistry and I don't think that egos are clashing, so I dont' think it is the cause.
For whatever reason she has for not returning, I wish Sharon and the gang nothing but love and health.
I love Sharon. No matter how barking mad she is, she is always good entertainment. She might not be a performer herself but she has been in the music business since forever and knows what sells. I agree with @JoElla, she might just be being a mum.

She already did this once one the UK Xfactor. And the show was better w/o her. They should use Danni Minogue as her replacement.
...except now it sucks again w/o Danni. And it now has USA reject Nic Scherz.
I like Sharon on the show....but usually don't like her on The Talk or other things she does. I find her very fake.
She is not going to get Mariah or Britney or JLo or Howard Money.
Hell Simon can get Paula to judge AGT.
And as a matter of fact, Paula would be excellent on this show. She is fantasic with amateurs and very encouraging of their talent.

I just remembered one reason why I love Sharon O. Does anyone else remember when she pulled that nasty little thing's hair out after she made a rude remark about Ozzy after his accident?? I'm not normally into violence but it was spectacular.
O Really, that was on Charm School, and the woman who fought with sharon was Megan, the bikini butter face girl. I miss the days of trashy bit great vh1 reality shows

But it bothers me when people say Sharon has no talent. I'm a big Ozzy fan and she really helped him and managed him after he was fired from Black Sabbath who her father managed. She is responsible for his solo career and I'd say him being alive! She's a hell of a tough manager
We love America's Got Talent. In Egypt, they run it right after the time of breaking the fast in Ramadan, when we are too full to move, and we really get into it. (It's kind of like a month of Thanksgiving post-prandial stupor). They haven't run the new ones with Howard Stern yet, and I'm not looking forward to it. I hated Stern when I lived in NYC-my ex used to set the alarm to Stern on the radio and I would be depressed the whole day. Love Howie-I know he's got Tourette's Syndrome and he's got a good heart. Sharon is OK. We love the really oddball Vegas-type acts.
