Anna Banana! You look great! Best wishes for your sweet baby. Sending you love and happy thoughts! God Bless :D

Anna and Chris look relaxed and not totally stressed out which I am taking as a good sign the baby is doing well. All the best to them.

Anna, looks great. Much happiness to them both.

Oh look, there is Mel, his girl looks rather young.

Mel = BI Reveal? ;)

My Mom has those exact shorts Georgia Jagger's BF has. You look real cool, dude.

Del Riser said...

Hard to believe Lea and Lilo are the same age.

All the best to Anna and their baby.

smash said...

Enty loves Naomi. :)

Ana doesn't look stressed which is a good sign.

BitterBlondin said...

Ingrid Superstar - so Mel is #2?

Lauren said...

Wishing Anna and Chris the best! Hope their little guy is doing well.

I can't help it, I love Kate Hudson. I know a lot of people knock her for starring in some dud films, but I adore her. I even named my dog after her son.

FingerBinger said...

The way Naomi Watts looks at Liev is endearing, hope he really isn't a serial cheaters.

Deborah said...

Omg. Kate Hudson's hubby looks like Ethan Hawke.

YourNameHere said...

Who is Liberty Ross? I have seen this person posted here twice in the past week or so and have no idea who they are.

VargasGirl said...

Can't wait for Girls!

Staple611 said...

@YourNameHere, she's the woman who is married to the director that Kristen Stewart cheated with.

lazyday603 said...

Mel Gibson & Leonardo DiCaprio? I wouldn't have guessed Leo.

supapimp said...

@lazy leo has no kids tho'.

Mel, stop tweaking your nipples.

I love Anna, the movie Smiley Face she was in was hilarious but only if you're a stoner. Glad her and the hubby look happy and relaxed. Baby Jack must be doing well!

Umm, that Mamet girl is really ... I'll be charitable and say plain. Nepotism paid off for her, big time.

I swear, if Kate Hudson breaks up Muse, I will hunt her down. She is def pinging my Yoko vibe. The Black Crowes didn't do anything good once she hooked up with Chris, and now she's got her claws into Matthew ...

Leo & Mel are the only 2 male A-listers in the random photos today.

hunter said...

Actually it would not surprise me. Leo for #1 and DEFINITELY Mel for #2.

Lea Michelle has gorgeous legs.

It is 90 fucking degrees in L.A. No one should be wearing boots in August.

Kate H looks good in that pic.

@ Texshan
I like Zosia in Mad Men. I think she has an interesting look. Not conventionally beautiful, but she has a really interesting face & look and the more I see of her in various roles, the more I like her..

Personally, I think she is very talented and her father may have opened doors, but she earned the gigs.

This is coming from someone who cannot stand her father. I loathe David Mamet. His current wife (not Zosia's mom) Rebecca Pidgeon, cannot act, yet he puts her in everything he does.

Homicide (the movie) makes me want to scream with its bullshit pretentiousness and simplification at the end. Don't get me started on f*cking over-rated piece of debris David Mamet...

Sasha said...

LL's face looks like Elizabeth Taylor's face when Liz was a little over weight and in her 60s.

Chilie said...

Interesting factoids from IMDB.

Zosia Mamet's maternal grandfather was Russel Crouse, who co-wrote such classic American musicals as "Anything Goes" and "The Sound of Music.".

Anonymous said...

Chilie, I don't insist that everyone on TV be beautiful, of course, but in this photo Zosia is really unfortunate looking, IMHO. I don't watch "Girls" or "Mad Men," so I don't know what she looks like outside of this photo. If she's a good actress, then good for her. I hope she finds more success.

Lindsay's outfit SCREAMS Contempo Casuals
(for reference, my nemesis when I worked for Wet Seal as a hoochified teen)

lazyday603 said...

I thought I was the only one who hated David Mamet & his "verse like dialogue". The only adaptation of his I can stand is The Winslow Boy, starring his wife of course. But the rest of the cast makes it work. Edmond may have been the greatest waste of good celluloid in the history of film. He and Oliver Stone should both retire 30 years ago.

lazyday603 said...

The Sound of Music was Rodgers & Hammerstein. Did they have a third writing partner on SoM?

Lauren said...

FTW!!! Contempo Casuals!!! Well played, Sunny.

Contempo casuals lil. I was reminded of that place on a recent mall trip where I was surrounded by sequined bustiers, sheer tops & spandex minis. :)

*LOL*

MrWolf said...

@Texshan - I feel you - Zosia's not a jaw dropping beauty. But on Girls she has such comedic presence and charm that it makes her hot to me (I'm a fan.)

Allison Williams is ungodly hot on girls, but her character is so loathsome that it makes me cringe. I feel about her the way that the CDAN girls feel about Ashton Kutcher - I hate myself for knowing I would totally sleep with her.

Chilie said...

@ LazyDay603.

According to Wikipedia, The Sound of Music (1959) is a musical with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. It is based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers.

According to IMDB,

Writing credits

Howard Lindsay (book of stage musical) and
Russel Crouse (book of stage musical)

Ernest Lehman (screenplay)

Maria von Trapp (book "The Story of the Trapp Family Singers") uncredited

@ LazyDay603
I love Sam Rockwell, and even with Heist, I found myself screaming at Mamet while watching Heist on video on my television. I knew better than to see it in public...

After Heist, I know I just cannot subject myself to Mamet's bullshit - regardless of how much I like the actor(s) in his films. If I were to meet him in person, it would take enormous strength not to punch him in the face.

I have had the honour of reading & meeting great writers... Mamet is a fraud, in my opinion.

lazyday603 said...

OK, I had no idea Rodgers & Hammerstein didn't write the book in their plays. I've read several books on Lerner & Lowe's My Fair Lady & Alan J Lerner did write the book, or more accurately he adapted it from Shaw's Pygmalion.

I could never ask a star for an autograph. I would just want to live the moment. Unless they were standing there with a Sharpie looking at me expectantly. I don't want your autograph...tell me something good.

Is that Mel Gibson's girlfriend or his grand daugher?

KP said...

I can see Leo for BI racist #1

Most of his movies are lily white. He does work with people of color but they are probably no where near him outside of filming scenes

KP said...

And as for it being Leo the blind says "Only movies now, but not so back in the day."

He was on Growing Pains as a kid

AlexT said...

Those Girls slacktresses are sofa king homely, and those outfits AIN'T HELPING. Watching the nude scenes in that show is like the female equivalent being subjected to the rear views of Bill Paxton or Steve Buscemi. Not adding to the story, thanks. If I wanted to see that shit, I'd go to a swinger party in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

anita_mark said...

I think Zosia Mamet is extremely pretty. Much prettier on Girls but very pretty on Mad Men. Of course she's always standing next to Megan so that might make one notice her less.

I like Kate Hudson too. I've often been compared to her, both physically and in bubbliness. But I don't have that beautiful skin colour.

Sunny said...

@anita
And you've got better boobs - I remember your reader photo :)

katsm0711 said...

Oh. My. God. Is Contempo Casuals still around? The one at my mall closed decades ago! I think it is a Wet Seal now. Is it the same company? Now that I've lost enough weight I can finally go back to shopping in normal size stores but the funny thing is, all the stores I know are what I wore at age 21, which doesn't work in my 30's lol

Sunny said...

@kats
Contempo Casuals, Judy's, all the greats . . . 6 feet under.
No more oversized blazers pinned back with a brooch , no more leggins under baby doll dresses. no more pleather, no more rhinestone necklaces.
Phrr, phrr, phhrrr. Phrr phrr phrr.
*That's supposed to be Taps*

katsm0711 said...

OMG LEGGINGS UNDER BABYDOLL DRESSES!!!!! I got that look from The Limited :) Remember the capri leggings with lace on the bottom? Well try to forget it lol

Sunny said...

I had the leggins (you can't put a "g" on there) AND the damn bike shorts with lace
In every color. The 90's SUCKED for fashion!!!!!

katsm0711 said...

oh yeah the shiny neon bike shorts? Or the REALLy cool ones that were black with a neon strip down the sides?
I loved grunge and I still want to break out my flannel and combat boots.

Mama June said...

Hahahaha, Contempo Casuals! I shopped there. Have some bad high school pics to show for it :)

Congrats on the baby, Anna & Chris, hope he is doing well!

I like Kate Hudson, love that dress. She better not break Muse up!

Naomi & Liev are a great couple. I really hope he isn't a serial cheater. :/

Agent**It said...

Chillie. Interesting re Mamet. Glengarry Glen Ross is going Bway with Pacino in Lemon's role. What do you think?

anita_mark said...

OMG Sunny, I can't believe you said that :) Thank you?

Muse was my favourite part of the Closing Ceremony.

Sunny said...

@anita
I guess my remark did look a little pervy! I am completely flat chested like Kate Hudson, but that's about where the similarities lie.
I just remember your picture because a) I was commenting on everyone's photos and b) It was so funny with the Rock wax figure. If you knew me personally you wouldn't be skeeved - I promise!

anita_mark said...

Oh, I wasn't skeeved. I thought it was funny.

Sigh, The Rock. I would've been way way way more inappropriate if it were the real Rock and not a statue.

Elizabeth said...

I know Mel has lots of money but it still amazes me that these women would date him.

I don't always love Kate but will say she does look great in those photos. Naomi is beautiful but that red lipstick and that goofy ruffled dress were all wrong.

a non a miss said...

Haha Sunny- I worked at wet seal too when I was a teen. Didn't last long cause they wouldn't let me wear sweat pants :(

Unknown said...

@Sunny and Katsm0711 I went from bike shorts with the neon stripe down the side and long t-shirt with the knot on the side to the babydoll dress and leggins look, then came the grunge days wearing Dr. Martins and flannel and eventually manic panic in my hair! Needless to say my parents were confused by my ever changing appearance.

katsm0711 said...

Omg I love this post! I would do the babydolls/leggings to church, to school it was Gap jeans, Gap or Benneton sweater and Adidas Samba sneakers with the biggest, puffiest white socks scrunched down and then you "tight-rolled" your jeans, or Bucks. Omg bucks with white linen shorts and a denim or chambray button down. I think Buks are back in style now? Then it was grunge, flannels jeans and my beloved Dr martins that I wish I kept bc now I want them! And then I ran with the arty "freak" group wearing camoflage (very proud, NOT lol), combat boots, black black black. We were the style that evolved into Goth. We were WAY cooler ;) god I miss the 1990's!

katsm0711 said...

@sunny @madcat I forgot the manic Panic! Lol I have some now but just for tiny streaks. One friend and I would color our hair with magi markers in math class and another girl would have a line out the door of the cafeteria bathroom at lunch and she would manic panic us.

Unknown said...

Yes the "pegged" jeans! before manic panic we used kool aid. My mom went to Boston for a convention and while she was gone my dad let my friend and I manic panic our hair (his was the bright purple and mine was vampire red), when she got back she dropped her bags and said to my dad, "are they on drugs?"

I wish I still had my Dr. Martins too! I also had, and still do have a Chuck Taylor obsession. I think I had every color that was produced, to include the american flag ones and the high tops that flipped down.

katsm0711 said...

Wow I'd love to see your collection! Chucks are sentimental to me bc when I was 14 I visited my army sister stationed in Germany. We had an amazing time visiting countries and everywhere we went people wore knock-off Chucks. I ended up buying maroon low tops in Amsterdam. I completely wore them out then got red high tops. Thanks for reminding me, I think I'll look for a new pair :) what's your fav Chuck pattern that you own?

CarolMR said...

Liberal, tree-hugging Leo is a racist? Wow.

CarolMR said...

Can't be Leo for #1 racist. He is not married.

Unknown said...

@Katsm0711 I think that my favorites now are the ones that I ordered from Converse that I designed myself, when I was younger though they were the hot pink and black high tops :) my son has the DC Comics edition with the joker on them. He also has a red pair and a black pair, I may have created a monster!
