Pregnant women can wear whatever they want. The only time in my life when I truly thought "f it" when I left my home. But that was more towards the end.
I don't like the t-shirt either. Sometimes I laugh at things and think "I really should not be laughing at this." This was not one of those times.

@canadachick - I just had bangs cut today for the first time in years...and I'm 42. Go for it! Paris is so beautiful - those eyes! But I agree that she needs to tone down the makeup and slow down a bit.

I don't take it personally that it is posted here. This is a gossip site and that is what is going on right now. Lots of gossip I may not like or appreciate, but keeping up to date. Unfortunately, Rihanna brushing it off makes it easier to disregard it in HER case. I don't agree with abuse AT ALL, but she's an idiot. So, this rolls off my back.

If she doesn't have enough respect for herself then I don't have any fucks to give about this rich woman who has all the opportunity in the world to walk away from an abusive relationship but doesn't!

The t-shirt is offensively funny. Just take it for face value, a crack at Rhianna and her own stupidity. The shirt is NOT saying, "Gee, beating women sure is fun!" I agree, it would be poor taste to be worn in public, but there are LOTS of things that are poor taste people are still wearing (anyone see the Redneck Festival episode of Honey Boo Boo? Shudder...)

I'd just like to point out that it takes the average woman experiencing DV/IPV seven times before she leaves her abuser for good. Also, DV/IPV affects ALL socioeconomic levels, so women with money, although they do have more options and resources, absolutely have stories and experiences similar or practically identical to women from lower- and middle-class backgrounds. I knew clients who were doctors and professors, among other professions that would afford them a comfortable lifestyle independent of their abusers.
The fact that Rihanna is rich and keeps going back to Chris doesn't make her stupid, and she still deserves whatever support she can get. Compassion...it's a beautiful thing. Let's all look into showing it.
