The use of the word "pub" makes me think someone British. We do have pubs but we typically call them bars.

I think Joaquin has a thing for Marion Cotilliard, and seriously, the list of guys who don't want to sleep with her has got to be pretty short. The question is would she cheat on that director she's with? I know France is known for their open relationships, so I could see this being them.
The B list actor is someone who lives in the UK...his house is "around the corner from the pub". I like the Rhys Ifans guess but he's not an Academy Award winner/nominee.
