Amanda Bynes Ruled Competent To Stand Trial
It is not like there will actually be a trial. She will be sentenced to community service and probation and that is where things will get interesting. Will she do what she is required? Will her mother be able to control her? Will Amanda take her medications? Will Amanda look for a new boyfriend in a cab driver that looks like Drake? Will there be enough wigs in the supply chain to satisfy her demand? Will she go back to work? Will Oprah give her $2M for a reality show? I think I may have said this before but I have never really been worried about Lindsay Lohan dying or overdosing. I think she has done far too many drugs for far too long and would have a lot of trouble actually killing herself. I do feel though that Amanda needs to be watched all the time or she might kill herself accidentally or otherwise.

If you really cared, your article wouldn't mock the challenges Amanda faces since she has been diagnosed with both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and is still unable able to care for herself.

I actually feel bad for her and hope she can get the help she needs to resume some type of normal life.
And her parents also.
Enty, I love you being snarky most of the time, but here it is not funny. I feel for Amanda, the girl is sick and I hope she will lead a somewhat normal life from now on.
I really hope the poor darling gets better. I have always had a soft spot for her.

Good luck to her,but how is she not fit and then is? I guess she got on correct meds and balanced out but still. Poor girl.
I do feel for her BUT if it was Joe Blow across the street facing these charges most of you would not be so sympathetic
@dereck I disagree, I would feel bad for anybody who screwed up so bad before getting help if they stay on their meds and do what they need to . I feel for her because mental illness is not caused by anything but genetics. Now if when she gets out she stops takin her meds then and only then do I think she deserves a harsh punishment. Community service and a fine is a perfect compromise in my mind.
Medication does not cure mental illness and adherence to such is inherently challenging and not merely about willpower.
I don't believe Amanda's diagnosis has ever been confirmed publicly. I think TMZ's drawing their own conclusions.
