In what should have been a fun event yesterday for this A-/B+ list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee turned into her leaving early. Apparently there were a lot of cold shoulders and even some quiet hisses and boos directed her way for what she has said the past few months.

I found her comments about Hillary over the top at times and she did say she was more dangerous than Trump which was probably Bernie resentment more than believing that or learning enough about Trump to weigh the two accurately. But after the election Debra Messing was blaming Sarandon on Twitter and saying "she needs to be held accountable". When pressed Messing wouldn't offer any way to hold her accountable. She has a right to speak her piece. It's really hypocritical for Hollywood to blackball or blacklist anyone and claim art is all about

The 'fun event' was probably the Women in Entertainment Power 100 Breakfast. Sarandon and Jessica Lange gave an award to Ryan Murphy.
