You can spin it or call it whatever you want, but there was no way on earth this A-/B+ list mostly television actress wanted to work with this B+ list mostly television actress any longer. No one does. The thing is though, the younger one tested better so if anyone was going to leave, it was going to be the older actress.

If everyone hates Hayden that much, why is she still working? Why has she not faded into obscurity? There's really nothing about her that's mind blowing or captivating other than her supposed back story that was brought up on here eons ago.
I don't watch the show but I like Hayden. I disagree with Courtney; I think she is unique. For such a small and cute girl, she can portray some very dark emotions in her face. She was great in Heroes.
@Courtney, there have been numerous times when Hayden's career could have ended, but she always came back. Agree that someone so difficult would have trouble getting work.
In Nashville her character is good and she's with Avery and that's probably one of the reasons why she tested better. Everyone likes Avery.
When you work with a PITA sometimes no amount of money in the world is worth your sanity. Glad Connie got out. She's already booked other gigs.
I would think Hayden P would be ranked at least as high or even higher than Connie B. I like Connie but she is kind of a one dimensional actress. Hayden can play a number of different characters. I liked when they interacted on Nashville, the show got boring and between the two i personally am glad Hayden stayed.
Tested better means she was more liked. Entern hates Hayden P, maybe the industry does as well, but if the public likes her, she's gonna get jobs.
Maybe Hayden has an "in" inside the industry that Connie doesn't. Given all we've read about her on this site, I'm sure we all know what it is
I would much rather watch Connie than Hayden.
I prefer Connie's acting, I seen her in several things.
I will not watch the show any longer, Hayden at this point is playing her true character.
NOT impressed.
Hayden given her background as a teen actress would be more inclined to lay on the casting couch to make complaints go away, Connie at her age-- not so much.
What is the reason for the dislike? Is she a diva? Is she a crappy actress ( she's decent IMO) or does Britton just want all the spotlight on her? I get the feeling Britton is the demanding one.

I think Hayden is an excellent actress. She might be a psycho bitch but that doesn't change that I think she's a very talented and compelling actress. Cute too!
I watched the show and Hayden had a much more fun character, a wild child it girl to Connie britton's "faith hill"4 type character. Unfortunately for the show, Hayden kept taking breaks to go to rehab, deal with post partum etc.. her characters story arc suffered and ruined the great dynamic of Juliet vs Rayna. Don't blame Connie for leaving, the show has been dead for awhile. Not worth the headache.
This is the same page claiming Milo Ventimiglia creeped on Mandy Moore. Cast is extremely close. It is true I am not there and have no idea what goes on, but not sure I really believe this. Have seen BTS photos where Connie and Hayden seem like they tolerate each other. I like both, but find Hayden to be a stronger performer. She is my girl. However, I agree with those questioning why Connie would be "let go." even though she chose to leave. I wish her well
