Goddamnit it's 2017. Shouldn't we be keeping closets for shoes now?
I say it's 2017 and if someone isn't comfortable yet, that's for them to decide. I will just do my part to let them know they are safe and respected either way.
They aren't comfortable because they don't feel like they can be accepted. And the way things are now in this country, they aren't really wrong.
Oh absolutely. But what a screaming shame that anyone in this day and age feels SAFER in that damn closet than out of it. In countries where their rights to be who and what they are, are supposedly supported!
