I don't think having a young girl with obvious issues on his arm would make him look better...very much worse, if that's possible.
This is a horrible idea for...both of them? Like, Lana Del Rey could ruin her career just by being seen w/him post-scandal. It would look SO bad. and kinda unforgivable, ppl would go from indifference or a fan to, holy crap I can't believe she could stoop that low. I bet he reached out to her first.
I dont know if anybody remembers this...but a while back there was a blind implying that bc Lana Del Rey wouldnt sleep w/Harvey, she ended up not getting an Oscar nod for the original song she had done for his film Big Eyes. It was a gorgeous song and nominated for a GG, but I remember being surprised when it didnt get an Oscar nom...the blind implied that Harvey was able to not have her even in the running bc she didnt take up his advances. She had only that public 'lunch date' with him years ago (before the Big Eyes song was even a thing). Does anybody else remember this blind?
The only explanation I could even think of why she would text him back constantly...is that it could be payback, and she holds the reins and keeping the texts as receipts. Otherwise...she'd be a total IDIOT to be seen w/him, or even help him rehabilate his image. It would be like killing her career within seconds. Associations w/Weinstein are indefinitely toxic...her being 'seen w/him in public' takes her down w/him, makes her look like a rape apologist.
Harvey needs to worry more about staying out of jail and hanging onto his $$$. Rehabilitating his image is that last thing he should be worried about.
She definitely has issues - look at the racist shit she pulled in that video for “ride” she poorly “apologized” for.
If Weinstein is allowed a pass on this I will shoot him myself.
I kinda wonder which powerful person's daughter/sister/niece/cousin that he either pressured or outright assaulted. Because he's been doing this for so long with most everyone's tacit approval, you know it had to be something like he chose the wrong victim.
I remember someone said that Weinstein wasn't as profitable like he used to be anymore. I don't know if that's true, but following Rose McGowan's tweet too many other women came out with their stories, and they probably realized that sugar daddy Harvey would become even less profitable after public backlash, so they quickly cut off all the ties and they're trying to save sinking ship.
After I read all these unbelievable stories, I realized that some people are sociopaths maybe even to the point that they would sell their own mothers and children, as long as it would bring them millions of $$$, so I wouldn't be surprised even if some of them would turn a blind eye if he tried to exploit someone's family member. I don't knowwwww
Lana and Harvey Weinstein definitely had something. She made a song about him titled Cola where she says 'Harvey is in the sky with diamonds' written around the same time when she was seen with him in several events in Paris. A Daily Mail in 2018 claimed that Harvey went bananas when he heard the song and he pressured Lana into taking his name out . She did and changed the lyrics into 'Ah he is in the sky' (now she has retired this song from her tours). DM then stated that Harvey joined her tour in 2013 and even posted a picture of Harvey backstage at her concert
Harvey didnt need to abuse or even ask for sex. Aspiring actresses threw themselves at him
