Silverman and Hamm have been friends for something like 15 years, before Hamm was even famous. He shared a flat with Paul Rudd and Adam Scott when they were all unknowns, and he knew quite a few people in the comedy scene. Hamm had actually a part in her TV show before he was cast in Mad Men.
And it's unlikely that Hamm would drink right along with her, as Silverman doesn't drink much. She's into pot.
Also, when the main source for making this blind item is The National Fucking Enquirer, you may have to ask yourself why it should be a trusted source here, while Enty constantly attacks other tabloids such as People.
