The unwillingness of this A list everything in her mind to do any promotion for a new movie other than the very top level stuff has left a bad taste in the mouths of the studio and made them really happy they hired this former A list tween actress who is literally doing everything possible to promote the movie even though she just has a supporting role. Look for her to get a big role in a big movie because of it.

Hard work pays off then, good for her.
Its part of the job and she needs to show how eager she is to keep working because she isnt rich. JLo not so much, she DGAF because she works for ego.

OK, so we know ENTY dislikes JLo. I don't agree with the criticism. If you've made it to the starring role, shouldn't some perks go along with it, like not having to schlep to minor markets ? and why haven't you criticized Leah Remini since she's doing the gigs along with JLo ?
Yes OB I was keeping that secret for a couple of days because she was having trouble getting connected with him, it was supposed to be yesterday, and taped Saturday.

I'd think certain promotional tasks are part of every actor's contract, that or they get extra money to do so. And Vanessa is not without acting or singing talent, she is actually much better in both areas than J-Lo. I hope it starts to pay off for her.
I have only seen Vanessa in one adult movie role, 'The Frozen Ground' with Nic Cage and she is REALLY GOOD in it. She is very believable and it is based on a true story so she obviously did her research to portray the person so well.
I hope she gets more roles, if she is as talented and hard working as she seems then she deserves it.
Vanessa has been struggling to get main stream movies the past 10 years, she will wash the cars of the studio head if she needs to.
Vanessa is very pretty and I don't find her boring like Victoria Justice.
I wonder why she has trouble landing roles?
I think she got lost in the group of other actresses, in her age range. She should have gone to television or made small indie movies. Kristen Stewart, Emma Watson and Shailene Woodley, are good examples of leaving behind franchise movies and still working steadily.
So she worked hard, but exactly where? At the casting couch?
True that she is doing anything for promo, I just watched her on some YouTube channel eating very hot chicken wings whilst promoting. Fair play.
Very admirable of her. If I were a studio head, I would be impressed. You always move up the ladder if you make "the boss" look good or help them make money.
And JLo has neither.
I've never understood the appeal of Jennifer Lopez.
Vanessa DID go to television, she was on a very funny NBC show called Powerless that had a great premise but was cancelled before the end of the first season.
