Blind Item #4

Although this company does finance movies, it has no interest in really making money from them. It is simply a way to launder money between countries using the various expenses producing a movie generates. The company is essentially a bank anyway, and this is a way to move it around like a real bank. Their last two movies have been historical level bombs and they couldn't be happier. Laundering money and deductions.

Isn't this most the reason for Hollywood these days? Money laundering and agenda pushing. Usually by the same people.

Yeah but think about all the great #metoo stories someone like Anne has tucked away.

Once the roles dry up, she'll roll those out.

Politicians pay people off by hiring them to staff and "consult" with "charitable" foundations, then they get "donations" from people who want political favors. See, e.g., Hillary Clinton.

It's time for a tax overhaul in this nation

@SDaly: Huh, Hillary Clinton is guilty of charity scams and the Repubs in power for two years couldn’t even charge her with a single crime? You must think they’re really incompetent.

But if the movies make money then wouldn't they have even more money to play with?

Marlin said...

this is definitely Aviron.

Fans of the movie “After” have been wondering why the movie hasn’t been promoted. It comes out in April and everything has been unorganized and just an utter mess.

Troy Dyer said...

Messy and unorganized...sounds like the book
Maybe the studio realized that a five book series that promotes emotional abuse between young adults should not be promoted
